The New Military System: Really worth it?

So yeah, here we are in another military system. This one has potential, as it's the v2 one on steroids, but it lacks the tactical play that the Rising system had. Personally I preferred the Rising system, because it wasn't all mindless clicking, and took actual tactical planning to play, but I don't think I'll miss the bugs in that system.

According to the admins, the bugs in the new system should be ironed out within a few days. I sure hope so.

Onwards, here is my rundown of the new system:

The new system screenshot.

So the new system is pretty simple. You have a few decisions every turn:

1. Fight. Costs you 10 health to do some damage to your enemy. Pretty simple and straightforward.

2. Eat. Cheaper than wellness boxes.

3. Wellness Box. Expensive, but hey some players have deep pockets?

4. Rocket. Nuff said, but I'll go further into this later.

In this respect, its v1 all over again, but not as boring. You now have your own damage counter:

This is cool in my opinion, not too useful but hey, why complain? Its a nice bell/whistle.

One thing that is very different from any other verzion of this is the 'Rocket.' For one gold you get to auto-kill your enemy. A lot of flack on that idea, personally I am not a fan but it makes it easier for noobs to do some damage (If they have the cash!). Who knows I guess eRep needs to make money somehow?

So now you are saying, hell, this actually looks good eh? (No you aren't, unless you are Canadian, but you might think something along those lines) But I forgot to mention one thing, and that is the weapon migrations. Personally, I am an infantry man, and much to my dismay I found that my 50 use 10 damage rifles that cost me $30 each are now only 5 uses at full damage.

So I've gone through 4 of my $30 babies so far in about half an hour. Painful in the pocket because rifles still cost around this:

Hurt me a bit when I saw this, so it looks like I'm back to like Q3 weapons for a bit.

These babies aren't nearly as expensive, but either way it is painful. This new system will romp on Q5 weapon companies, because of the expense for a mere five use weapon. I sense economic failure in that respect.

Anyways, here I leave you, and remember, FIGHT FOR AMERICA! No one becomes a winner unless they support the fight, and you are talking to one congress member who has fought in every single conflict the USA has been in since he's started playing. Thats right folks.
