The Maine Frontier

Day 2,582, 06:49 Published in Ireland Ireland by Anthony Colby

Hello all.

While perusing back issues of The Maine Frontier I noticed that on Friday it will be exactly two thousand days since the publication of the first article way back on day 582. That is almost 5 and a half years.

My paper started out simply as most newspapers do. I was a noob who had no idea what was going on in the eWorld or how things worked. Here is the first article.

This is the first article in a brand new newspaper, or is it enews because there is no paper involved. I do not know what will end up being written here but we'll all see together. I will treat everyone equally and fairly. Comments will be considered letters to the editor. Any new players with questions I will be glad to answer if I can.

Thank You.

Not much to it was there. 🙂

I have tried to write the kind of articles that I see other people write. Articles that create debate, inspire thought or inform.

The problem is I have trouble coming up with ideas to write about. I see so many creative people creating awesome articles that make me jealous. I know my writing has improved over the years and I have learned a thing or two about how to make a article look better but I still have a lot to learn.

So for the next 2000 days I hope you continue to read The Maine Frontier and make comments. I still try to take all comments as constructive criticism. Well most of them anyway. There are a few I don't. 🙂

I see discussion as the way to solve problems, foster new ideas and bring people closer together. It doesn't always work but what are you going to do? It works more often than not. None of us should be so confident in our positions and ideas that we think that we can't be wrong.

Thanks for reading.
