The first presidential appeal and debate

Day 2,298, 16:32 Published in New Zealand New Zealand by kurojca

First I would like to thank to all those crazy people who voted for me. Now you've made me write an article after exactly 972 days from my last one.
Ironically, my last article was published back when I was elected CP the previous time, and it begun with me thanking my voters and being sorry for publishing it a day late. So it is a kind of a tradition you see.

Down to business. I decided to run for office again a while back because I was quite bored with eRepublik and needed a challenge, some sort of a change. However nothing seems to be happening at the moment, all seems quiet and boring so f@#k me, right?
But I guess there is always stuff to be done. For example my life long dream of uniting several or even all MU's. I had 972 days to make my evil plan so don't even try to avoid it, resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.

Now seriously, I do have some ideas, but at the moment nothing but concepts. I decided to work differently than way back. For instance, I won't try to do anything unless you, my faithful followers, want to participate. And I want to hear from you all. Let's hear some ideas. Let's talk about them. The idea is to make this as transparent government as it gets. We are a fairly small community so get involved!!!

As far as official cabinet goes, and for this I am honestly sorry, I don't have the complete list at the moment. It's my fault, last few days were crazy busy and I simply haven't contacted all the people to confirm their place in it. For now I know Sor3naa and By Bojan will be involved and help out, as will KoskaDeStrah with taking care of our money. Which we have. A lot.
However I encourage all citizens to look at this as an opportunity, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) is welcome to join the team. Just sent me a message or comment bellow if you think you can contribute to eNZ in any possible way and you will be given a chance.

My key thoughts for this month

First of all lets boost the activity of the community at least a bit, let's use forum and IRC. Come and meet some new people, it can be fun. You don't need to find your new best friend, just talk to people and communicate. Try it, it is in fact the best element of the game, the social factor.

Then there is the army. We have almost more MU's then active soldiers. Just look at eThailand, I always wanted that kind of organisation. One big strong MU that really can make a difference in a battle. That sounds good, right? Maybe with some army infrastructure to support it.
That kind of thing can bring two big advantages - providing organised help to allies, and in other times it can serve as mercenary army to generate some income, or at least free weapon for soldiers. Or if not total merge at least coordination in some military actions as a country.

Economy... Not much can be done. It's a mess. A little better recently but still... We are in fact doing quite good considering the game mechanics.
Or even better make some kind of an organisation on voluntary basis, donating that one work per day or one paycheck per week or something to help out our countrymen in need. With a bit of solidarity it could work. Or give out loans.
If 50 of us give up a gold or two we won't feel it but it could make someone happy by an upgrade of the training center.

Immigration would be nice. People are a key recourse in this game. Also as I understand there was some sort of a cold war between our RL Bulgarian e-kiwi's and some older e-kiwi's. Ok, so that is normal at start, people tend to fear and resent new groups.
But let's stop that now. If some RL Bulgarian and currently an e-kiwi wants to join the government please contact me. They are a part of us, a part of eNZ. And if they want to fight for their RL country it is their right, as long as they care about eNZ and its own goals.

That reminds me of a subject - alliances. For me personally they lost their meaning. They come and go, nowadays faster than ever. So I think we should always focus on a few countries to call friends of eNZ, rather than on many allies.

And war. It's a war game. Now we, at this point have no real war options, but we have a friendly neighbour we could punch in the face 🙂 I plan to approach eAussies with the idea of a training war because we both have NAP with eChile and we share a border. Why not earn some True Patriots medal (gold), it's good for all sides involved and even could boost our market consumption a bit.

As I mentioned, I have some general ideas but I can't do anything alone. Ok, maybe I could but I won't. Already tried and spent to much energy on it. But show me you want some fun as well, let's build this country together. At the end of the term I would be happy if at least one thing is better and more interesting than now. That is called progress.

So let's do some brainstorming. All can be discussed openly, via articles and comments. Feel free to send messages as well.

Looking forward for your comments and thoughts, your glorious leader,
