The first presidental briefing and news IMPORTANT EDIT!

Day 1,154, 15:19 Published in New Zealand New Zealand by kurojca

Edit:
Don't fight in the battle for Canterbury at all, save your wellness for the next attack on Wellington which we will defend!!! The attack on Wellington starts around 22:00 erepubli time, day 1156

After a while of monotony state and little to actually do, I caught myself facing a challenge arranging a regions swap in a short time. This idea is not a new one, there was an initial agreement between us and eAustralia, but we have waited for days and finally early this morning, eAustralian cp told me their congress procedure is all done and that this operation is a go. We agreed that he should propose us as Natural Enemy asap because it is a way to get a free war opened between us. We did not make them Natural Enemy because we will need that latter on.

What's this swap all about? We have a mutual agreement to swap regions among ourselves. We will give eAustralia one iron region (Otago) and they will give us one cow region (Tasmania) in return. For eNew Zealand it will bring +5% more bonus on food production, while we will still keep the +25% bonus in iron production because we will keep Canterbury region which also has iron.

Considering our specific geographic position it is going to be a bit more complicated then it seems but not too much, there is a clear plan and time line for this. I am glad that we will finally have a chance to fight at home and complete some missions, but most of all I am especially glad we will have a chance to test NZDF in a more serious manner. This will be our chance to get to know our weaknesses and correct them in the future.

Most of you are eager to hear the plan so here it is given in step-by-step explanation:

1. eAustralia attacks Otago and conquers it.

2. eAustralia attacks Canterbury and conquers it. eAustralia attacks Wellington and fails so we get the initiative. Although eAustralia won't fight here, we are going up against it's 6 strong MPP's. Those countries will be informed that it is a simple swap but there will be random citizens and medal hunters there, and this will be the crucial battle to win. This battle for Wellington will be the first battle we will fight in organizedly and we need to win it.

3. Near the end of the battle for Wellington we start a resistance war in Otago. In this rw we will also fight in organizedly and we also need to win it.

4. eNew Zealand attacks Tasmania from liberated Otago. This is the third battle we must win.

5. We attack another eAustralian region and fail so that they can reclaim the initiative and attack Otago from Canterbury and conquer it once again.

6. Fnally we get Canterbury back via rw.

So in the end, eAustralia holds Otago and we hold Tasmania. As stated above, we will fight in two resistance wars and two hard battles. NZDF is preparing itself, and besides it's q4 weapon stock we are in a process of stockpiling q5 weapon for the next few days, and I need to thank Crusadercarl at this point for letting us use his q5 weapon factory for NZDF purposes. I would also use this opportunity to call people to join NZDF once again and help our country: NZDFAplication

There are a few more things I would like to state now:
- The first eAustralian attack is starting around next day change and since then plan continues on by it’s shedule.
- As much people as possible need to move out of Otago before the battle for Otago ends and region is lost so that they could all fight when eAustralia takes on Wellington.
- Plan says we are loosing first two battles so you should not fight there hard or with guns, save them for latter they will be needed.
- You should start preparations for the upcoming battles, fill up your inventory with food and guns as much as you can.
- There will be some food distributed to civilians on the day of the battle so be sure to keep track of MOD orders.
