Prince Philip - A truly great man who gave so much for Britain. We will never be the same without him. My family appreciates all the prayers and well wishes from all of you on behalf of my grandfather. We will never see his like again. A man of honor, duty, courage, family....
We salute you sir, and we will miss you dearly. This is as grave a loss as we can imagine, and a day I have long dreaded.

It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
