Sorting some things out

The last days haven’t been easy for eAustria and with my last act as President I want to sort out some things:

There has been in no point of this whole crisis, any sort of agreement, contract or whatsoever with the eCroatian government or any other representative of the eCroatian state. Every other claim is a blatant lie, used to make mischief and quarrel between the eAustrians and their allies. The real reason why I wasn’t online the bigger part of yesterday, was no “silent consent”, no “approval” of the actions of eCroatia, the simple reason was a server shutdown in my apartment building, preventing me from getting access to the Internet. Trust me when I say that I would have done anything to prevent any further advance of the eCroats in eAustria, if I had been able to.

Resignation

However, the last days and weeks have shown me that I have neither the time to serve as a war-time president nor the experience to deal with those challenges, which lead to the decision to resign. As the game mechanics forbid me from stepping down on my own, I have to wait for an impeachment vote, that can take place in about three days. Nevertheless, Oraizan will serve as acting president from now on, she will decide the course of eAustria and I wish her and eAustria all the best.

Finally, I want to apologise to everyone whom I might have disappointed in my short term, especially regarding everything that did or did not happen yesterday.
