Rem tene, verba sequentur
Hcmadman legione astra equitum

"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light."
— Plato
"That government is best which governs least, because its people discipline themselves."
— Disputed Attribution
"Wise men profit more from fools than fools from wise men; for the wise men shun the mistakes of fools, but fools do not imitate the successes of the wise."
— Cato
"A journalist once asked me what I would like my epitaph to be, and I said I think I would like it to be, 'He did very little harm'. And that's not easy. Most people seem to me to do a great deal of harm. If I could be remembered as having done very little, that would suit me."
— Paul Eddington
Rem tene, verba sequentur.
Grasp the subject, the words will follow.
Though many of these words may be parroted, they are of no less worth nor sincerity. They speak of the qualities which I believe all Statesmen should possess, though imperfect I humbly think myself to possess these qualities after a fashion.
Therefore I state my intention to seek a term of congress under the SFP banner, this article shall serve as my mark of intention.

Simple truth... good food for a clear mind.
You quoted our evil dictator, Plato!
Good luck in congress by the way, I think you deserve it.
For sure you will meet some foolish and wise people in congress. Good luck!

There is no education in the second kick of a mule.
That idiom seems to apply to my mindset after serving one term as USA CP.
