Creating a new path

This game has been plagued with repetitive gameplay, boredom, eternal money leeching, and nationalistic rhetoric by a selected few to enhance their game without giving any care to the game of the community.

We in The Rebels begun as a splinter, a simple piece of wood from a historic tree. The splinter fell, found rough ground, had a difficult beginning but managed to make roots. New, small, but roots they were.

We started wandering in our e-life, searching for a better game, disgusted by the repettive patterns followed by the nationalists in our eCountry and even our own brethern's decadent repetitiveness.

We landed on eCyprus, what would we do in this small community? How could we create a more interesting what could create a better reality and shake the waters of this marsh-like region?

"Sink the boat don't shake it", this phrase kept spinning around me and our members. Surrounded by arrogant friends, with high disregard towards us and an attitude that reeked of the smell of the eGreek system that has caused the creation of a small elite of older players chocking all the fun out of the non hardcore demographics.

Well, all actions don't need a long term perspective, sometimes, winning isn't the goal, perhaps its not even about making a huge fight, its about leaving a message.

And within a day, the current status quo of the region for more than a year, was shattered. Are we happy by that? Have we made the right decision? Many, especially in eGreece say no. But for the first time in months, we see glimpses of activity that were not seen before. Could we ever see again the older eCyprus, which stroke fear through it's guerilla warfare to far stronger countries? At that point we begun a war and seeked maximum reaction. Reaction was important. Shake the boat enough, and you re-arrange the scene.

A cause of it's own. No need to be justified or explained, if you get it, you get it, if not, there is no point in me explaining you. We begun fighting eGreece. The arrogant fools laughed or barked. For them, their lower level MU's could take us. Me and the proud people of eCyprus enjoyed every moment of panic, as the Myrmidons and the rotten institution of eGreece paniked and sent all of it's forces to stop us from invading them. The fool's craziness managed to make a country 20 times stronger than us lose 4 regions in a single day. Not a bad start.

They then thought the war was over. The anti-Greeks and Turkish PTOers were beaten. That was all there was. Heh, a smile and a chuckle overtook us. As the eGreek nationalists blowed countless gold and real money in supressing us. To vain though, in less than a day eCyprus was back.

We are now continuing this war. We won't stop, there is no need to stop, we don't have anything to lose, for us, iconic bonuses mean nothing. A blue colour on the map means nothing. What moves us, is a message, a statement. Thank you eCyprus, without every one of you, nothing of this would have been possible.

With the right kinds of eyes YOU can see it too. eCyprus is beginning a new journey. One that will rock the very foundations of the region. I am proud I and my fellow Cypriots shook the game, again. Join us or fight us, it's up to you.

Whatever happens,
We win.

Hail Cyprus
