PP Elections

Day 1,911, 14:30 Published in South Africa USA by AdUnit

First off, welcome to the 3rd Side of the World featuring your star journalist AdUnit. I hope to bring forward my message not just to DB-PF but rather to all of eSA.

I know that this is an extremely important election and I am requesting your guys' vote. I'm running against an established veteran (Rico Suave) who has done many great things for our party. I'm tired of sitting from the sidelines though and want to attempt to be our PP. I will bring you my platform.

Platform:

A new opinion
I'm a much newer player than Rico and I have different opinions than him. For those of you concerned about being a young player, that is not entirely accurately. I started playing about 3.5 years ago and took a long break because of the lack of changes on eRepublik. Rico has been in eSA for a long time and has many established relationships with players. This can lead to many biased opinions and him being loyal to his friends, rather than doing what is best for DB-PF. I can bring forward unbiased opinions and listen to both sides of an argument.

Make DB-PF #1
We have a loyal group of members in the DB-PF I have found out and their opinions are greatly respected. But, there is no reason that we cannot seek out new members and encourage them to join our party and the forums. This will make eSA more active and relevant and our party.

Elections
We will throw our support in the candidate that is most prepared to lead eSA come CP elections. This may come through a nomination process or a primary style run-off election. We have to make sure that the best candidate gets to be CP because we are in a critical time now with Uruguay.

Forum Behavior
For those of you who are active on the eSA forums, you have witnessed much drama. As DB-PF members, you will be expected to carry yourself in a professional and accepting manner. This does not mean you have to agree with everything everybody says, or that you even have to like a person. A disagreement in opinion is different than an immature fight that rambles on for over a week. Derogatory or inappropriate insults will not be tolerated and will lead to you being penalized when we set our Congressional elections order.

This is an extremely important election and I am encouraging everybody to get out and vote. I appreciate every vote I get and if there is anything I can do to help you, or if you want to know anything else about me, let me know! Good luck to Rico Suave in this election and may the best man win.
