Not why do you leave, but what do you leave

Day 970, 07:01 Published in Malaysia Malaysia by Amli Nujhan

It's a great depression.
Not just economically but the worse is spiritually.
More and more players commit suicide; migrate to another planet; or just retire to the nursing home for old folks (4 clickers).
We were few; and now we are fewer.

I can’t blame those players. They had their heydays and the nostalgic moments blown away in the wind of change. So, what is left now just a handful of veterans stay around. I read the farewell bid from Noveras. He specifically mentioned a few names that he will remember. Out of many citizens that he wishes to remember, there are just about a dozen he can recall. I compared with the people of my choice and without doubt it is more or less the same list. In fact it seems like in truth there are only around twenty people in the whole eMalaysia.

Now, I am addressing to the few remaining active players.
If we are also losing our spirit, we will die sooner than tomorrow. Our grave stones won’t be carved with fancy swan songs. A plain zombified guy. If you fail to activate the inactive players, there won’t be a legacy of yours.

In RL, I am a person blessed with five children.
I have so little to after for my own self. What I care is only my future generations. I am working hard and dealing with many tasks in life, just to ensure my legacy goes on.
I have no dream for myself anymore. I live my life as best as I can, just to ensure I will leave this world for the future generation in much better condition than now. Life is tough.

I always say to my dear wife.
“I have a country to administrate, and you are my minister to help me manage our country. Those five citizens are not to be taken as a burden to us yet we shall give them all that they need. I say we must reach our hands for the citizens, embrace them. The children don’t know exactly what to ask for. They just cry.”
“They think they love us, but in truth is they just want to be loved by us… and of course we love them.”

Yeah, I know some of you will say, “Come on Grandpa, this is just a game! I play for my own sake, they play on their own life.”

One fine day, I will tell you more what is game and what is life.
