My term as New Era councillor under ATO

Moving On
For some time I've come to realise my strength sucks, I had to tank very hard and costly to bring home the BH's, I've been in the top 3 nationally for div 2 of late, but this isn't cheap and takes a lot of effort! Now it's time to play the long game and settle into less clicks at the gym. So you'll all be seeing a lot less of me from now on, for some that will be cause for votes and cheers.

Passing Thoughts
My pet project from the last term was a basic set of rules that hold party presidents accountable, it does not provide rules for the average party member. I suspect it wont be adopted, and only time will tell if we end up in a similar situation again.

There is the issue of dead and abused accounts in New Era, I emphatically implore Angela to consider auditing in some manner, such as a census of members. We climbed to over sixty members in the days before the election, a day after we are already down to barely over 50. To suggest we have 50 members who can recruit is a suggestion this point is either accidentally or deliberately ignored. Of those 50 accounts I suspect half are inactive, 1/2 of those left (1/4 😛 ) multi accounts, leaving some 15/20 active genuine players. Do not be disheartened by this, the party can still regrow, but it will take time, likely years not months until we're ready to content on equal footing the injustice and lie to New Era that is Vendetta.

As some know, I wasn't keen to take a position of responsibility. Wasn't sure that I wanted to commit so much time as I've spent recently, and it does involve brushing up against certain types if you have an opinion rather than a desire to secure votes. When I stood up, I was very much a lone voice, calling for change and backing a new future. This wasn't opportunistic, as a politician there were quite a few 'smarter' moves, but as you do now, I believed what was left after the schism was actually better than before.

And so I call on each and every member to remember that the one thing New Era has in it's favour, is it's integrity; 5 New Era members of integrity are worth 50 vote buying, 'yes' men, back-bencher's in Vendetta.
