Join the new world

After a couple of month's hiatus, I have decided to try my hand at congress again. I have alot of ideas and with the Bastards of Liberty backing me, these are our goals:


1. Citizens come first - No matter how much government, gold, and congressional discussions there are, the bottom line is that nothing here will work without the citizens. So what does that mean?

---Citizens need to learn, and not just about how to survive, but they need to advance themselves. If you learn a business, you know how it should work, the difficulty of it, and why you got fired. You would also learn a little about the economy. Just a few things that should be taught early - Government, Military, Congress, Taxes, Politics, and player enhancement. You will find things that will interest you and that will make you ACTIVE. Eventually, it will make you self-sufficient.

2.The nation's sovereignty is paramount - This means that the country needs to be intact at all times (defensive measures) and needs to have a goal (offensive measures). This does not mean attacking everyone, this means helping our preservation with the supporting of our allies with common threats or goals.

---This also includes our economy. Import taxes, domestic production, and citizens wages are important. If we do not have a balance of these, our economy (and citizens) will go away.

---Military is of the highest priority here.When I was Party President, I had already begun building a militia with my own funds (and it is near completion). With an infrastructure such as the military, there can be a more concerted effort on behalf of new citizens (where they make more of a difference in a battle).


One last thing that is important when choosing - leadership...

I am currently the Bastards of Liberty Party Vice - President (former President), and these are my credentials:

I am on 3-4 hours a day for 7 days, currently I am working with a bunch of different groups to help the entire eUS:

Community Development Program - program that offers helpful links to help new citizens get knowledge and help to get through the tough first couple levels.

Flying Unicorn Squadron - program that uses the chats and forums to help citizens with knowledge, wellness, and moving tickets if need to make sure they succeed in Erepublik.

eUS Mentor Program - take new citizens and "walk them through" and problems and ideas they may have.

Ambassador to Venezuela - (recently promoted) use my knowledge of spanish to help bridge the gap and keep the eUS in good standing with Venezuela

Eagles Militia III - help the militia by working in their factories at a reduced wage to supply weapons when the militia is needed in conflict. Additionally, here is a quote from my commanding officer:

"Joseph Dinero is an active, hard working member of the Eagles Militia with interesting ideas. He has the potential to be effective, especially in the area of citizen retention. As citizen retention is probably the single biggest issue facing the eUS, Joseph Dinero's focus on that can only help."
