Ministry of Finance...At It Again
AppleMan
Greetings from your Minister of Finance
It feels good to be back in this office which some of you may know I held for quite a long time, quite a long time ago. I really can't stand theft and drama when it concerns public money and I felt it was time to step in and help stop the hemorrhaging. We can all thank Nogin for cleaning up the initial CF and handing me clean keys. You really old players may remember that I've been through this before after the actions of a certain BB. Ok, enough of the history lesson.
Security??? Yes!
Let me assure you that the treasury is secure. With the approval of our country president I agreed to be the sole person with access to the bank org that holds most of the treasury. Barring acts of Dio or a true hacking pro our funds will remain secure as will their shiny new email accounts that will alert my cell phone if a reset is attempted. Also, I hid it in a pretty secure place.
Security through Accountability
I believe that it is very possible to keep our money secure without keeping secrets. While it's not a good idea to constantly publicise a target for theft I want to make sure that we maintain accountability. As a first step, here's a snapshot of the treasury ledger I received from Nogin, who is, by the way, a spreadsheet Goddess:
Note: Org names have been changed for security.
I will gladly respond to trusted Irish citizens at any point in this term who are curious about the treasury balance, just send me a PM.
Kurgan, I'm already waiting on yours.
Moving Forward
While most of our plans are still on the drawing board, here are the goals of the Finance Ministry for this term:
1. Rebuild the Treasury from the robberies
This will include active market trading, a review of our current tax rates and a healthy version of austerity.
2. Ensure economic growth
I'm not going to propose heavy taxes, we need to keep our domestic market growing.
3. Supply the Irish Army
Supplies for the Army will continue, with austerity in mind.
Want to help us make weapons? PM me.
For supplies contact your commanding officer.
4. Ensure revenue to keep up our required MPPs
As advised by the Defense Ministry, with austerity in mind.
Thanks for reading. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go check on the interns.

You who suppose to be so brilliant in economy showed nothing...NOTHING!
All we get is a bunch of economic gibberish you found in some book of economy thinking that ill make you look really smart coz no one will understand what a fk you talk about...
Show as your finance datas Sweet...no BS...no crap....just simple numbers....
Nah, Sweet only showed us 4,000,000IEP in assets. What a twit! Like money is just so overrated...
Nah, Sweet showed us crap...maybe he showed you mal....but not to irish people..
Simple financial data...nothing more nothing less.
but tell me Malbekh...i noticed, since the robberies you have some extra cash, buying and giving a lot of tanks....interesting and i am sure its not connected...
Make me Vice MoF like the good ol' times 😉
When Kurgan runs outta Irish ppl to accuse of something, he won't know how to do anything else but start accusing himself
my best wishes for this month.
@Appleman - Would it help to take loans from citizens?
I have some IEPs lying round waiting until the cost of training centres comes down and no opportunity to use it for trading.

shut up sweet, u was asked for it many times and u was too lazy (or as u think too clever) to do simple things. why should we elect politicians if they do not work or cant prove it for us, citizens? end of road road sweet, this game is not for "inner" circle anymore- there is much bigger community and other people are not dumb. and by the way u r not gregory house, nor nouriel roubini so thats the story.
@ Frank 😨 that's one idea we're looking at, stay tuned.
I totally support and believe in Appleman. Good luck man, got a hell of a job ahead of you, but you can do it.
I remember the history well 😉
Good luck, excellent article.

This is the article where I predict the collapse in gold values months in advance of it happenning.
The only economist in the game to make that prediction.
Choosing Dr.Doom for the RL economist that I'm not is amusing.
Good luck.
You're right Kurgan, it's not connected. I melted down my Q7 weapons factory being a filthy gold buyer so I could go 4/4 on training. Weapon factories are redundant now.
