King of the Castle - The Winner!

Day 637, 00:03 Published in Ireland Ireland by The Irish Community

Adare Manor stands beside the River Maigue in the village of Adare, County Limerick, of Ireland. It is the former seat of the Earl of Dunraven, descendent of Valentine Richard Quin, a rare family of true Gaelic origin.

The real-life Adare Manor site.

"As rich in beauty as it is in history, Adare Manor is an architectural masterpiece of towers, turrets, and stonework ornamentation surrounded by breathtaking gardens, majestic trees and fascinating ruins dating back over eight hundred years."

In RL, this manor now stands as one of the world's premier luxury resorts. President Bill Clinton stayed here in September 1998.

And in The New World, this illustrious property, as hosted in the Irish Estate Draw, has been won by a very lucky individual, chosen at random by our list of participants and their collection of tickets.

Drumroll....

Padraig_Pearse.

Congratulations, PP! I've sent through the keys to you, this wonderful Q5 mansion is now yours own - a contribution of The Irish Community.

"In memory of you Rhindon, so that you will never be forgotten I purpose that all 5* star homes in eIreland, will now be called and sold as the Lord Manor." - Tayto

Well Padraig, you sir are indeed this month's King of the Castle, but perhaps even better still...Ireland's first official 'Lord of the Manor'!

Enjoy your new residence...a word of advice though. Just watch the Head Housemaid...I believe she's got quite a thing for respectable young gentlemen.

Kindly,
