Introducing the next great alliance, FORTIS!!!!

Right now the U.S congress is voting to join a new alliance. This alliance has been in the works for a good long while, with HR working hard on it the entire time.

In short, this will bring the U.S out of its neutrality, and into an alliance that the U.S created. The first member nations of the charter are looking to be the U.S, U.K, Spain, Ireland, and Canada. All nations will be given one vote in decisions that require voting.

As for right now, the voting is 29 for, 1 against, and 1 abstaining.

I, being a Senator from Oregon, voted yes to make the U.S the first charter nation on Fortis.

In my opinion this is a vastly improved alliance from ATLANTIS, for more reasons than Romania and Sweden, the ATLANTIS trouble-makers, are not in it. Our stint with neutrality has been used very well, giving the U.S enough international good-will to help bouy and sustain this new alliance.
