How black is this friday?

Hello, Hello

So I woke up this morning blessed by a cold that I've been fighting to stay away from for more than 1 month now (all that crap of eating the right fruits, wearing body armor during matches and making sure I wear long sleeved shirts at work have summed up to nothing) and I was genuinely hyped about this new 8th anniversary... thing (I know, I know..I should never expect much from the erepublik guys...but somehow lately, they've tend to hit the spot and get the fun back in the game e.g: the last military units contest). For some strange reason, I do enjoy November more than any of the other months, so it was definitely an extra incentive.

Preliminary (what I thought of as being) bugs during the night and Clopo announcing to stash up on the MU feed for missions with great potential got me at the right levels of hype. Woke up after knowing that I'll call in sick for sure and after controlling myself not to waste those valuable ffs at DC (while BHs were going for under 30mil right in front of my eyes) and well...saw this and shitload of epics (seemingly last night, it wasn't a bug, but either some random testing as the epics were giving only x2 pp or the actual build up for today)



I mean, it's good and all that, but I'd have rather had some missions (just remembered that we have 8xGold for BHs as well, which changes my perspective a bit). It was my first time that I actually could have spent the whole day (weekend) in during a string of significant missions/madness in erepublik (all the time I was either on the road or not being fully available...which explains why I don't have shitload of EBs stashed and that I will use as an argument for later on...if I remember). I was also genuinely positive about writing this article as well...until now when I realize that it might end up just being a wall text of shit and frustration.

Not deviating from the point, I started calculating how can I tackle this 'awesome' (and nicely and coincidentally shoved in our face, double-trouble uber-mega-giga-extra) day of Black and Erepublik. I have some EBs (little in comparison to what other stashed away - enough to last them for a flight from Auckland and back), some PP boosters as well (because we were that awesome at the last tournament) and free time to waste on a mindless clicking game. Took a look at the wars and noticed that most BHs were going for a whooping 800mil+ damage (discouraged 101). However, thanks to mister GIGI and the forever-69 C R N O G O R A C I managed to cool down and think of this as a possibility for free leveling (I had yet to take in consideration those packs). ---just realized that I lost my interest in writing this article as it feels like I am not talking to myself properly, but for the sake of writing, I will carry on --- w/o actually knowing how and what it offers to have more than 3-4k pp per week (exception being the last tournament - bragging rights forever). Seemingly, people say that (almost) free leveling is possible after 20k PP, though that should not go alone, especially that I am currently stuck at 3k pp and making leveling profitable would take a toll on my EBs stash ...probably (to be read as 'most certainly') needing to invest some gold into making that possible (which I was willing, as it is all about that bas... those levels - still daydreaming at that day when the admin messed up with those candies and 25kills snowmen). Although sunshine was my middle name for about 3minutes of joy and calculations, I realized in that second after the 3rd minute has passed, that this won't happen. PLEASE, WITH SOURING EYES, FEEL FREE TO PROVE ME WRONG YOU GREAT MATHEMATICIANS OF THE REPUBLIC WITH AN E AT THE START AND A K INSTEAD OF THE C

This is where those kinky packs kick in. Seemingly failing to gasp on how to get to that much desired level of all gods, level 200 or even level up for 5-6 rounds of peanuts, I decided to take a look at those packs again (as people shouted and vouched for how profitable they are) in order to get my kick of drugs and fun for the day (I told you how much I like them November days). Well, up until now I am still looking at ways to approach that 'investment' and still can't wrap my head around it. So basically you would need 3BHs today to be mildly profitable (why did I think of using the word profit where a loss of 10 gold occurs, fuck knows) if referring to the 250 gold pack. Now, diving the damage that the rockets and bombs have, correlated with a 100% booster, would give you roughly a 600mil damage. That would be terrific in any day....except today, where BHs reach levels of 800mil+ (500mil if truly lucky). Now, if the erepublik guys don't make this 8xGold for BHs and constant epicness on daily basis for at least a week, I don't see how the regular folk will have access and means to be running on profit after investing in those packs.

Of course, all this refers to the much dreaded Division IV, where the majority of the erepublik users ply their trade. For other divisions, this might prove to be a pretty nice kick and spike in their coffers. Ahh...wrote too much.Need to go make that tea and buy a stash....of napkins

Just to wrap this up (if you could be bothered to read this far) I have to ask myself how black is this Friday? Black enough for me to put some cream on? or is it just a white Friday wearing some black socks? Much appreciated if you could help me figure that out
