Greetings from Finland!

Finland is in war with Lithuania. After declaring Finland as a natural enemy in day 2260, Lithuania conquered three regions from Finland, and also won Finland in a Resistance War in Lapland. At the moment Lithuania is attacking to Southern Finland, and there is a new Resistance War in Lapland.

Presidential election is coming, and you can see it also in Finland. Kostaja, the party president of the Finland's largest party Wanhat Parrat, has started his campaign, and it is clear, that he is the 'front-runner' in the forthcoming election. That’s because last time when candidate, who was supported by Wanhat Parrat, lost in presidential election, was in last March. Of course all the last ten president of Finland haven't had the support of Wanhat Parrat, but that’s because in some elections Wanhat Parrat haven't give their support to anyone. The main challenger in forthcoming election will probably be Kendo Yanar, the party president of Finnish Alpha Male Club, who has been candidate in all last past elections. Even Kostaja is the 'front-runner' in the forthcoming election, you should notice, that Kendo Yanar has in all past three election received more votes than in previous one.

There has also been discussion about the possibility of either returning the Finnish Army or creating a new Asgard's Army. Finnish government and Asgard HQ have been the main planners of this idea. The idea has caused different kinds of reactions in Finnish congress: some think normal people wouldn't profit off it, others think it would improve Finnish defense and give experiences to someone.

Since nearly 2 weeks, France doesn’t have CP anymore : in fact a Congress member lanced an CP impeach for the lulz, but the laws was as a surprise approved ( 6 YES and 2 NO). It shows that a Congress with only 10 Congressmen is not convenient at all.

So the new CP since 2 weeks is Tungo, but him also ran for CP for the lulz, as a consequence the Gov is very narrow and contains the strict minimum of ministers.

About alliances, debates are in “stand by”, we are expecting the next CP to fix its political.
But we successfully negotiated a region with Serbia to have a Congress (of 10, to change), may be our future alliance… we’ll see it when there’ll have a new CP

Hello eWorld,

Domestically and International politics have been fused recently with the question of where Eire stands with the shifting of allegiances in the international arena. There have been several articles regarding what it means to be Irish and that the Irish are strong in brotherhood.

Some eIrish think that we should stick with our old ally Croatia and join with Spoland and eUK, but a growing group is beginning to realize that the Croatian government does not really care about us and that we need detach from Croatia. There are calls to form an alliance with several anti Spoland nations, but to try and stay out of Serbian influence, and then there is the small minority of people who just want to remain neutral.

The up coming CP elections will most likely see the election of Don Croata as CP and the distancing of Eire away from Spoland/USA/eUK/eCroatia and increasing ties with old allies, and maybe some new ones. This will happen against the backdrop of a National meeting in which the stated general consensus was that Eire should try to keep options open to Spoland/eUK, although this consensus was a dubious one at best.

The Irish government is deliberating on whether it should implement a state commune that would supply any Irish citizen, regardless of the MU a citizen is in. While this is being decided the January rent given to Eire from the eUSA has been held for the time being to see if it can be used to make the transition smoother if a state commune is implemented.

There is a small push to get the Irish community onto IRC and onto a new forum, but this has had little success of late.

Hi there!
This is BT reporting from eNorway 😁
First of all let me just say that I’m honored to be allowed to represent eNorway in this international newspaper!

Recently eNorway has suffered a lot as we have regained and then once again lost regions to our enemies. This has led to the rise of a new party, the Norwegian Green Party (NGP for short), which might be the country’s future hope of restoring a working government, as our current government is a chaotic one without much communication, at least not for me even though I’m part of the congress. Though in the coming CP election things might already change, as there is a chance of NGP getting their first CP in their very first CP election since the party was founded.

Furthermore eNorway is currently gradually reestablishing internal stability, which was clearly shown in the last congress election when a PTO-attempt was discovered and effectively taken care of. There is still suspicion about a new attempt being planned for the CP-election, but we have already started taking necessary precaution around this, which means it will probably be even harder, if not nearly impossible, to achieve a successful PTO during the coming election than the last one.

When it comes to our military power I guess we don’t have much to show off, but even here we are slowly and steadily improving. With a new and active government we might also be able to further increase the rate of improvements.
