Do you have Oak for Oak in Utah?


Hello readers, and for those of you who either cannot see or read, I can’t really communicate to you. Sorry about that.
I’m here writing an article to tell you all the most exciting (not sarcasm at all) thing you’ve all probably heard in months (if not your entire lifetime):

I am going to be running for congress this upcoming month, for probably the fifth time since I started playing all the way back in November of ’09. Not once have I won, but this time I am hopeful, currently being run as an independent by the USLP, and supported by the Feds, the UIP and the ACP (if any other parties come to support me I’ll let you know). It looks like I’ll be running against Josh Whitehead (USWP) in Utah.
Here’s my actual platform:


1. Why I am running

I’m not going to lie to all of you, the primary reason that I am running is because I would like to be in congress. This is a game and I think it would be fun for me to be a part of congress. Despite the fact that I’m admitting what others deny (yet we all know to be true), I’m still what I consider a good candidate.


2. The Military Fiasco




While it is true that the issues between the military and the congress have settled recently, it is still an important issue. Before telling you what I think, I’d like to give you a background on my life in this game. At the start of my game (late 2009), I joined the military. I was in the TC, and later the MI for an extended period of time. I believe I have been in the military led by the JCS for around 6 months overall. More recently, however, I have been in what is referred to as the ‘political’ group. While I was never really an insider, I hung around the forums a good deal. I’ve come from both sides, and through that experience I have come to this conclusion:

1. The JCS led military should not, under any condition, proclaim itself as the official military. They are no longer the official military any more than the Ultramarines or ST6 is.

2. Despite this, it may very well be good for all parties that the military left the government. Because of this there are more groups that new players can fit into, instead of only one military styled group.

3. I don’t believe that the JCS military should be forced to give up their old companies. It wouldn’t make any sense for them to do so, and besides this it will only cause a greater rift in our nation.

4. All people, on both ‘sides’ should attempt to just forgive and forget.

3. The Economy



Quite frankly, the economy isn’t the greatest right now if you’re looking to make gold for companies or boosters. The reason for that is because the average person can only produce roughly 40-50 USD of goods daily, meaning a person can only make about .2-.25 gold daily. I would like to emphasize that this is not because of the taxes, if anything it is the opposite. The reason is because the admin made companies so valuable though the ‘work in each company every day’ rule. It makes gold very valuable and USD less valuable. Another possible reason the USD is so weak is because of the admin bot buying goods, though this is unconfirmed. Congress has been using the reserve to attempt to suck USD out of the economy and should continue doing such.
