Dignity Chess Brigade

Day 2,036, 02:36 Published in South Africa South Africa by Wilpanzer

I believe my chess skills can be regarded as abysmal. However, I find it very interesting to discover unique strategies used by some erepublik players and groups.

One intriguing strategy hit eSA recently:

DB has made an interesting move political-wise. I was surprised a few months ago to see DB'ers leave their party and take up membership in other parties. This "diaspora" began with ATO implementation and has slowly been developing. If you take a look at the different parties you'd see DB-associated members everywhere. The closest description I could figure out was the classic Queen sacrifice. DB sacrificed their party, an entity of a considerable value for what we now see as an inter-party platform. While they've lost direct control over party assets and ideology, they've gained party influence two-fold. They now have influence in IA, UP, SAGP and DB-PF itself.

What does all this mean?
I'm going to leave it for you guys to decide whether this is good or bad. Had a party like IA been active, there would have been some fallout, but quite the opposite is happening. The former party leadership stays silent.

eSA politics may be changing. This is the first inter-party organization eSA has had in quite some time. The variable though is that some people will be pro-DB(affiliated) and others will be DB(members). Meaning that some people will still want their own party ideology and platform. It remains to be seen whether an opposition will form, but for the time being eSA can consider itself:

Outsmarted
Outwitted
DB'fied
... and Dignified
