Congress, I come to you today in an attempt to clean up our proposals. Given the last attempt at cleaning out the country treasury, and the utter chaos in which money is given (Or isn't) out, we need to put up some ground rules.
We have a number of attempts at cleaning out the treasury, some legitimate, others illegal, and some trying to prevent the illegal acquisition somewhat illegally, starting six days ago:

Now it isn't only the fact that some of these were attempts at stealing our country's small treasury, but the fact that there was little to no discussion on these bills before they were put up for an official vote. For instance, Walther Rathenau (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1538187) proposed a bill to donate all 34 gold of our country's treasury to the "Swiss Federal Chancellery" (Bill linky: http://www.erepublik.com/en/Switzerland/law/62563). The problem is, that the Swiss Federal Chancellery is not an official organization of the Swiss government, at least not to my or any of my fellow congressmen I have consulted.
Although fellows like this may look like they have good intentions, they don't always.
This is a problem. First of all, we had 7 people vote yes to this! Absurd! Without a discussion being allowed to take place for at least two days before proposal, one should vote NO! automatically. Secondly, the organization is a false organization, and congress needs to be more careful about how they vote when considering the entire treasury. WAKE UP! For the sake of our country!
Now, we also have had similar occurrences such as this recently, but I'd now like to turn our attention to the legitimate votes. Our fellow congressman and patriot Rican (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/2317127) has put up a bill (Link here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/Switzerland/law/62298) to put the money into the official Swiss bank. This, I don't have nearly as large a problem with, but there again was no real discussion on the congressional forums about what the purpose of this was. I will assume that it was in order to protect the money in the country accounts, but in this day and age can we ever be sure? I have no doubts in Rican, he has proven to me that he is a fine servant to this country, but I cannot stress it enough that there MUST be a explanation and discussion for any proposed bills. We need to be sure of what we do, and we can't put the very little money our country has at its disposal at risk.

i emphatically agree with everything you have written. I have repeatedly asked that we communicate with each other. Start discussions. Debate topics. Maybe even learn from each other !!!

It's an official org of the Swiss Government. Why don't you ask the President if it is? He knows all ministry organizations.

which government, Walther? the one that is activated for the current extreme faction, or the other entire set of government Orgs that is activated when the other extreme faction is in power?
there is not trust, and there will be no trust, until both groups start functioning as political Parties with differences instead of two gangs of hoodlums working for themselves and using the nation as a battlefield and its people as pawns.
Absolutly right General Custer. With new geopolitical threats weighing on our country, we need all but division. Kishvier emphasizes the true canker that erodes our society.
The Congress is still waiting for the President to release an exhaustive list of official organizations and longs to work towards national unity…not a single word for one week…I hope we’ll hear about our dear President before his farewell address.

Aye, eHelvetia is the official forum of the Swiss government, or at least it was last time I checked. You either go there or I will continue to vote your bills down, and you better explain yourself, because if the president isn't telling congress what are the official organizations of the Swiss government, then you have a HUGE problem on both our hands!

Well if the president wants to do that, he needs to at least tell congress, which he did not. That means that the official forum is still eHev.

There is, or is supposed to be, one complete set of functioning tools of government, used by citizens of all Parties and the Congress and the President and his Cabinet, even as these positions are held by different people.
Oh boy ! There’s still a long long way to go! What’s political about the choice of the official forum? (I’ll kill the fist who says “passwords”). If we cannot even agree on that, so on what? This is pure nonsense!...and his choice has never been communicated to the Congress btw. This is a total lack of consideration for people’s representatives!
The President is no more than a state agent who has been given a mandate by the people. The forum AND the organizations are state property, whether he likes it or not! State agents shouldn’t mistake state property for their own!
eHelvetia isn't the official forum. The most here need a lesson in history. Many month ago the national council decided based on the CoC (that's a former constitution of Switzerland) that we move the forum to http://eswitzerland.freeforums.org/. The reason for the move was an basied administration on the ehelvetia where 50% of the national council was banned. Also post manipulation and deletion was a common practice. After the move to http://eswitzerland.freeforums.org/ we created an alternative constitution which should replace the CoC. The national council approved this new constitution and the Swiss citizens approved this constitution after a popular vote (1. national council, 2. people of Switzerland). Afterthat, we moved again the forum regarding some criticism regarding the advertisements in this free host service. With the majority in the national council and again a popular vote we moved to this location: http://eschweiz.noadforum.com/
The legal position is clear, all moves was 100% conformed on the law of that time. And even the Swiss supreme court approved all the legal matter (you can read the archives). Therefore a message to our newbies here: Learn our history before write stupid things!
First, it was never decided to change of forum as you said. You decided to creat http://eswitzerland.freeforums.org/ by yourself.
Second, the Shaolins' right to access to congress part of the forum were taken away but they never were banned. That was done because of this law: http://forum.ehelvetia.ch/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=410

Anyway, eHelvetia changed totally since all these events. Ilestis and Eleriel (the people in charge) don't have access to the admin part anymore and don't even play eRepublik anymore.

The choice of forum is political because if the president chooses without the conscent of congress, he is being a dictator. Dictators can and are usually very oppressive, Hitler, Saddam, Castro, and have horrid effects on public moral and economies. There is congress for a reason, to protect the people from one dominating individual.
In this particular case, the president finds himself as a person with questionable intent, and he surrounds himself with what looks to me as theives. This is why I have a problem with this.

Maybe, but I'm in the right. If we talking about official, the most should first learn the history of eSwitzerland ;> But you're not better in your comment second above Kishvier. You written about Castro and equal him with Hitler LOL. First, in Cuba all people have health care for free. In USA, the most have no health insurace (a country reserved for the rich). And the Cuba economy is only down because USA with their big ego made embargo many years ago. Also in foreign countries try USA tell another country, they should not make trade with Cuba. But fortunately, today the most country change their thinking and Cuba's economy begin grow. E.g. is one of the most important sector in Cuba the tourism and the most important trade partner USA. But USA citizens are not able travel to Cuba, therefore they need fly around third country and that cost more. If the USA would stop this ridiculous embargos, Cuba has very great economy potential. Therefore don't throw the fault to Castro and Co, because you find the evil in the US Gov ;> Therefore you should better exchange the name Castro with the USA, the real oppressor and this only because USA can't control Cuba.
RL Politics? Really, and you forget how the Cubans tried to set up Nukes on their island, with the help of the oh so awesome Leftist Soviets? Remember how that turned out?
Don't question my knowledge of eSwitzerland, and try not to go onto as many tangents as possible. It weakens your argument. I made a parallel, you tried to make a RL political battle. Why don't you try and help eSwitz, instead of fighting us, the congress. You get nothing done. Check the proposal logs. What we need is communication, and not a guy trying to become a dictator here. You can't run around changing everything whenever you want without congress's support. The congress represents the people, and one man cannot try and manage this country with his buddy's while the rest of us are here.
And USA has no tons of nukes positioned to another countries? But ok, if your arguments are "USA can do what they want and all countries must follow their commands", then you have really good arguments😁
And I have not asked your knowledge, I know that I can find nothing there. Also I have not started a RL political dialog but rather you. You begun with RL citizens, you compared Castro with Hitler and said some things about RL cases. So don't be surprise if you write such comments, that another citizens reply (that's arrogant what you do!). And regarding the national council, dude, I'm member of the national council and many of the AEP/SNP too. You're not the national council, you're just a member of them and some national councilors of your party too. If you and many other national councilors aren't able for compromise then don't be surprise if the national council is blocked. But the AEP/SNP ears are open, especially the SNP is since above one year ready for communication (AEP is younger ;>).
I compared him to the leaders of horrible regimes. He did similar actions. You went into Cuban/American politics and such. I compared him to people, ideas that were/are oppresive to the general population. You went into economic status's of country's. RL Politics and the actions of people in the RW are completely different.
Also, I see time being used as a weapon in politics around these parts. What difference does it make that someone has been here a week or a year? It doesn't mean they will do their job worse than the other person.
