Greetings eAustralia,
I write to you today in regards to the upcoming Party Presidential elections. My plans for this piece is to provide you with a bit of my experience and some of my ideas, especially on Congress.
As mentioned in the last article, I have a number of plans if I am to be elected PP. I plan to find one of the many talented members of the KHMC and find a worthy candidate to be wear the KHMC banner in the April election and someone that the party can unite behind.
The other non Congress related goal is restart the KHMC weekly newsletter to keep our members and the public well informed.
The Knighthawks has been a dominant force in Congressional elections for years, but even with some of the most consistent successful elections results, we as a party generally lag behind in real political influence.
I have found the issue to be clear, my vast experience with the party has led me to conclude that the party lacks of vision and an understanding on where we are.
A change on how our party approaches Congressional elections is needed. Within the confines of this article, I hope to present to the KH and the general community a rough and simple draft of what to expect from a Callumh123 led party in Congress:
- KHMC Congress dealings conducted through the forum
If I were to be elected as PP, I would be looking for the highest quality candidates as well as having candidates that can subscribe to the vision that will be laid out. I would push for KHMC Congressman/woman to become active participants of the Senate area of the forum. Contributing ideas or opinion or expert advice. KHMC has many experienced members and the country will need them to put their 10 cents in.
- Push for a constitution in the Congress forum
I would like to see the Senate forum be pushed one step forward, and creating a binding constitution in which would become the guideline on how Senate votes, creates and processes laws. If elected I will release an article on this very topic and how it would be done.
- Appointing a KHMC Congressional Whip
Another initiative I would like to pedal is creating more internal KHMC Congressional positions. The KHMC and other parties use to have have Whips to push certain positions and to get the achievable votes needed for laws.
- Begin dialogue with fellow Congressional members on Nebula
After much consulting with more recently active players, something that appears to be a reoccurring issue is that of Nebula and its place in the eWorld. Something I would like to see done is a serious discussion on the forum on this issue.
I have for a long time been a great advocate for a forum based Congress like we did for many, many years and I believe it is time for our politics to be great and interesting again.
If I am elected on the 15th, this is what you should expect from Callumh123 led KHMC.

When Rusty was impeached last February and you then lost the country to an MTO. 😛
Pshh I can hardly be blamed for the MTO. Perhaps my response after it happened, which I still stand by, but can definitely be blamed for.
I like the Constitution idea and I like that you remember the old forum and how exciting things used to be.
It would be great to see, but we also need to come up with ideas on how to get people to migrate across to the forums.
I know some ideas that I have would be great to openly discuss inside the forum, however if only a handful of the players use them, we can not have a proper discussion taking place.
It is, I got nostalgic last week and thought how great it would be to be able bring back the excitement and controversy it was.
