Belgium’s Weekly Waffles: 8/6/11
Monsieur Guillontine
I present to you this week’s waffles:
Sharing British Tea and Belgian Waffles
The Rise and Fall of the Belgian Independents Party
A Misplaced Sickle and Hammer
The War of Words
Sharing British Tea and Belgian Waffles
So once again, a training war between the eUnited Kingdom and eBelgium has commenced, and is running quite smoothly, I guess. I mean sure, we have to sacrifice Wallonia and Flanders, but there really is no other choice. Each day, we are either starting a resistance war in Wallonia or Flanders, and each day, we are either letting Wallonia or Flanders once again become occupied by the eUnited Kingdom. But then again, like I said, I guess there really is no other choice. We will have to deal with less company bonuses because we will be rewarded with not only constant battles, but also, the newer players will be able to finish their lil’ mission. And another plus is that we get to add another country to our list of countries that we have to fight for in order to get that tiresome Mercenary Medal… Although I myself don’t really like training wars in which eBelgium has to deplete our national treasury, the profitable side isn’t that bad, as we are still benefiting in one way or another. Receiving some British tea in return for some Belgian waffles isn’t so bad, now is it?
The Rise and Fall of the Belgian Independents Party
As all of you already know by now, jamster737 had to run in the Bros B4 Hos Party due to the inactivity of the party president of Belgium for Belgians. Although he had messaged the party president countless times, there was always no response, and so, as a last resort, jamster737 switched to a different party in order to be eligible for running for country president. However, only two days after leaving his party he had devoted so much time into, jamster737 was shocked to find out that Mikhail Alexander joined, being the member with the highest amount of experience. A day after he joined, Mikhail Alexander became the new party president since the previous party president resigned after being inactive for what seems like an eternity. Without even consulting the rest of the party, Mikhail Alexander decided to change Belgium for Belgians into the Belgian Independents Party. His party also supported Critically for the country president elections that were soon to take place. Consequently, many senior members from all parties rallied together and exclaimed their discontent over the sight of such ridiculous behavior, especially since everyone knew that jamster737 has been a faithful member of Belgium for Belgians for quite some time now, and that he truly deserved the party’s support. After being heavily pressured for a day, Mikhail Alexander reluctantly decided that it was best to resign his short term as party president and let the new party president, Elynea, take care of things and set everything straight. And so, jamster737 finally received his rightful support from the party that he has served for many months now.
A Misplaced Sickle and Hammer
This month, the Belgian Communist Party chose to support jamster737 for the presidential elections. There were discussions about who the party will support for candidacy on IRC. However, YaroslavK was unhappy over the decision due to his supposed inability to take part in the choice over who the Belgian Communist Party will support. And so, YaroslavK wrote an article explaining how he was publicly leaving the Belgian Communist Party due to the corrupt party president, Monsieur Guillontine, selecting a candidate for his own personal interests. Shortly afterwards, some friends of YaroslavK who were also inactive on IRC publicly left the Belgian Communist Party. Although Monsieur Guillontine attempted resolving the issue by reasoning that the ones who were unhappy were never on IRC and therefore could not have possibly been able to discuss which candidate should be chosen, the angry protestors indicated that they did not want to listen.
The War of Words
Today, we have a new president. His name is Critically. And yet, to become Belgium’s president, Critically had to fight against all odds for a victory to savor. Now, I would like to point out that both candidates, Critically and jamster737 did have a rough time with getting their planned policies across. Eventually, because of some simple criticizing comments, fires flared in both their eyes, and a war of words began. Both candidates began slandering one another in articles, comments, and even on IRC. Adding oil to the fire, shadowukcs even began evaluating the idea of a merge with eBelgium and eNetherlands, something that Critically strongly advocated in his program. Fortunately, right before the presidential elections, both candidates decided that this was not a true representation of the way they normally behaved, and so, Critically and jamster737 both decided to bury the hatchet. The election day ran smoothly, and now, Critically is eBelgium’s new president.
I hope you enjoyed this week’s Saturday morning waffles. Go ahead and discuss or debate with each other, or even insult each other right below. Remember to check next week for some more hot crispy Belgian waffles!
Yours Truly,
Monsieur Guillontine

thanks for your message, i'm sad to see the situation.
I think it was not a good thing for jamster to be in the shadow's party. Not a good thing. But jamster had no choice as i saw.
But i hope for the BFB a futur candidate. Elections is a hard time, because the battle of words is not good sometimes.
I know how much members we can lost when the deception is there.
I always beleive in liberty and i hope it will be for all things.
Liberty of expression, liberty of vote, and sure and share our experience with the new players, and our informations to help them.
I believe on the new gamers because they are our futur.
