Dear Belgians,

BIESD, or Belgian Institute for Education and Social Development, is a public, apolitical program of logistical support for new players and an additional means of communication between all Belgian citizens.

The institute was born with the main objective of being the reference point and guide for the growth of every newborn citizen, as well as of all the Belgian players in the dedicated sections of the site, through the centralization of game information. B.I.E.S.D. is intended as an introduction to social life in erepublik and will aggregate further guides and information on all modules into the site to give you a one-stop-shop of answers to your nagging first-week questions, and hope you find yourself confident in getting started, getting involved, and getting somewhere in eBelgium.

In addition to the site, the #biesdiscord channel has been created. Many players are available to answer questions and coach you through your first days. So please feel absolutely free to send us a message if you need help or have any questions not answered by this site.

We would like to clarify that the social aid page only lists programs aimed at all Belgian citizens, regardless of party. At the moment B.I.E.S.D. itself "only" runs the Monthly Challenge which is funded by private donations only.
