As The World Stands; EDEN Losing Ground 1105

Day 1,105, 19:10 Published in USA USA by Professor Oak

Day 1105 is not looking very good right now. The British campaign has stalled after another British win in London while Hungary is on a warpath, Poland is being hit from two sides. The Spanish insurgency against Brazil is the only bright point.

Hungary On A Warpath

Arrows show Hungarian attacks
Hungary once again seems unstoppable. Previously they attacked into Ukraine, holding multiple regions including Podolia, a high iron region. They just conquered more regions, leaving Ukraine with only Sloboda and Donbas with both being attacked. It is almost a certainty that Sloboda will fall; Hungary is up 7-1.
Hungary has a large advantage that most people overlook. The only nation that they are at war with, IE the only nation that can attack them is Ukraine. That is because Hungary were recently wiped out by a Romanian-Croatian attack, closing all wars. It is highly possible that their advances will be lost if Croatia or Romania declare war. Another possible reason that Ukraine is losing so much is because they are not traditionally an EDEN power, so EDEN might not fight as hard for them.

Poland attacked on two sides

Arrow shows French attack, star shows Russian RW
Poland was recently seen as unstoppable. They invaded Russia, the ancient fortress of a nation, and Germany, a lesser nation with no troubles. Their fate seems to have turned around almost entirely. They currently only hold two regions by force, the German capital of Brandenburg and Berlin (one region, not two), and the Russian region of Moscow and Central Russia. Today both of those regions are not only under attack, but highly contested. Central Russia is currently being RW’d successfully, Russia is winning 5-0. On the bright side the French attack on B+B is being resisted, Poland winning 7-3.
These battles have less importance that would be expected. Both of them are high grain, which Poland holds safely in America. B+B is only truly important because if Poland has it, Germany doesn’t. Central Russia is slightly more important for a tactical reason. If Poland can hold that region they will be able to use it to attack the other Russian regions if they DoW Russia. If they lose Central Russia they will have to swap through other nations to get to Russia.

Spain fighting back

Arrows show Spanish attacks, stars show Spanish RW’s
In my last article, I spoke of the importance of the Spanish front. If Spain’s high iron region, Asturias, is taken, it would be a huge blow to Spain and EDEN as a whole. Luckily Spain is fighting back and Brazil is further away from Asturias. They have launched counterattacks on Madrid, Castilla La Mancha, and Murcia, winning those battles 5-1, 4-2, and tying 3-3 respectively. Spain has also opened RW’s in Andalucia and Canary Islands, winning 3-2 and losing 2-3 respectively.
It looks like Spain is making a comeback right now. Whether or not they can sustain it and push Brazil off for a long time is unknown.

Today is gloomy. We lost London, both Ukraine and Poland are being pushed back, the Spanish campaign being the only bright side. Fight harder, let’s win this war.

On a more personal note, happy birthday me. You’ve been here for 365 days.
