Alliance feature with the eye of an Alliance leader

Day 1,931, 11:30 Published in Japan Czech Republic by Rhual

Dear eWorld,

Probably millions of articles will be published about the new feature called “Alliances” but I can show you how it looks like inside and what the background of it is.

The country presidents and the alliance leaders (SC/SG) received a message from Plato a few weeks ago that a new feature is near to completition which asked for a ticket from the country presidents informing them if his/her country is a member of an alliance (if any) and for the alliance leaders to approve them by sending a list of the member countries.

During this period, I was in contact with an admin via IRC, first of all correcting the country list but later talking about some of the details.

Many of you will ask, what is the benefit of being in an alliance ingame too, not just outgame? At the moment nothing. You will see at the bottom, it looks like a Military Unit now but with some laws.

Admins wanted to add some additional stuff, but they received so many ideas how this feature should operate at this stage from players, they decided to think it over again. If you ask me for example, with MPP costs, organisations and the simple logistics of what being a part of the alliance will entail.
At the beginning you just see it visual with some functions. But as it promised, it will be improving and it will have a role in some future events: just remember fot the Alliance contest few months ago.

So let’s see what we got.

Here is the Latest updates

Starting today we added in the game as an official feature: The Alliances

The Alliance page can be found in Community -> Alliance

- If you are a citizen of a country that is in an alliance, you see will see the Alliance homepage

- If you are a citizen of a country that is not in an alliance, if you click the Alliance page you will see the an Alliance ranking page, order by the number of country members

The Alliances and their country members was established after talking with the country presidents and the alliance leaders in order to determine in what alliance a country is.

On the Alliance home page you can see the law proposal in pending (only if you are the alliance leader or country president member), law history, (only if you are the alliance leader or country president member), the country member list, a link to see more country member details and an alliance description (editable by the Alliance Leader, coming soon)

1) Propose a law to change the alliance leader

- The law can be started, seen or voted on the alliance homepage
- The law can be voted by all the country presidents from the alliances
- The law to change the leader can be proposed once every 7 days per every country member
- There can be only one law to change the leader in the same time
- An alliance leader can be proposed if he has the citizenship of one of the country members
- For this law to be considered accepted it needs 66% of the votes.

2) Invite a country in alliance

- The Alliance leader can invite a new country from the country members page of the alliance
- The law can be voted by all the country presidents from the alliances on the alliance homepage
- For this law to be considered accepted it needs 66% of the votes.
- After the law is accepted, a second law will be sent to the congress of the invited country for the congress/country president to vote on
- For this law to be considered accepted it needs 66% of the votes.

3) Remove a country from alliance

- The Alliance leader can remove a country from the country members page of the alliance
- For this law to be considered accepted it needs 66% of the votes.
- The law can be voted by all the country presidents from the alliances on the alliance homepage (except the country president from the country that is proposed for removal)

(Mégse = Cancel)

but lol, nothing happenned, not a single law appeared.

4) Leave Alliance

- A Country president can decide to leave an alliance from the country members page
- If the president presses the “Leave alliance” button, a law will be sent to the congress of his country for be voted on
- For this law to be considered accepted it needs 66% of the votes.

In addition the Alliance leader can pick a title for a member country. The default name is “Member” and the leader can change it to anything

Like in a Military Unit, the Alliance leader can choose an alliance logo and later s/he will be able to add a description.

Untill now this is all that is available in the Alliance feature. But you can be sure, admins will add more functions than in the MUs.

At least admins are caring about their players, and I liked this form of communication.
