ADF & ATLANTIS: IVF Statement.

Statement on Abrivianius Defence Force recruitment & ATLANTIS-Ireland Relations.

The Irish Volunteer Force takes issue with the active recruitment of Irishmen for mercenary work on behalf of ATLANTIS, on the basis of the following:

- Ireland is a neutral and independent state, and thus is not "pro-ATLANTIS" as supposed by the ADF recruitment personnel.

- ATLANTIS and its predecessor organisations largely ignored the Romanian Political Occupation of the Irish Republic, which without help from our good neighbours to the East and West and resistance from within, would have permanently put us under Romanian rule.

- Certain ATLANTIS members regularly violate the sovereignty of small nations similar to Ireland. While many of these countries join PEACE, it is the opinion of the IVF that these countries do so only to protect themselves from imperialist tyranny of ATLANTIS neighbours.

Despite this, the IVF recognises the nations within ATLANTIS that would stand-by-side to fight imperialism, especially with regard to PEACE.
