About the elections

Day 1,253, 18:29 Published in USA USA by Professor Oak

So, apparently I made it to congress after all these many months. Excuse me while I come in a corner.

Okay, back. Now the important stuff:

1. The controversy over me being an ACP congressman. I need to clarify all this: I am not a member of the ACP. I am not a congressman of the ACP. I am not a spy from the ACP. However, in retrospect, I don’t blame Pizza too much. After I decided to run for congress (around a week ago today), I realized that after all of my months of playing I really wanted to be in congress. I didn’t want to lose like the last 4 or so times I ran. For this reason, I began getting endorsements. I PM’d on IRC or in game the leader of each of the top 7 parties. First I talked to Marxus, the leader of the most recent party I belonged to, the Libs. He kindly enough allowed me to run as an independent in Utah. I then preceded to ask the leader of the USWP (the leader before Lex rightfully gained control), the UIP, the Feds, the Socialist Party, the ACP and even a friend of mine in the INCI. The leaders of the UIP, Feds, Socialists, and ACP all agreed to support me as well as the Libs which I was running under. During the time I believe I told every person I talked to that I was an Independent running under the Libertarian Party. On the day that elections happened, I didn’t want to lose. As such I PM’d the leader and idled in each party that was supporting me, asking for help because I was down. Of the people I asked, Marxus, ArcNox, and Pizza sent me help. I talked to all of them the whole time, not just Pizza.

However, Pizza did not know that. He asked me if I won I would join his party; I replied I would consider it. Not because I hate America, want Serbians in, or anything like that, but because I like the people in the ACP, they’re pretty cool. Pizza then claimed me and now we’re here.
If that was confusing it sums up to that I am not in the ACP (I am independent), but I don’t blame Pizza for the confusion about it

2. I’d like to thank some people. Primarily I would like to thank Marxus, for agreeing to run me in the first place. Without him allowing me to run and subsequentially sending me voters I would not have succeeded. I would also like to thank ArcNox, the previous leader of SEES and the SS. They helped me along the way, allowing me to win, along with everyone else they were supporting. Good job ArcNox and SEES/Libs. I would also like to thank Kazeal for supporting me, he’s a pretty good bro. Finally I would like to thank gnilraps, who even though he didn’t know me too well, decided to help me out and put a blocker in Utah. Thank you very much everyone!

3. I don’t really know how to start this, so I’m just going to go into it right away: I’m sorry Josh Whitehead. I know you wanted to win really badly, and truth be told I wouldn’t have felt bad losing against such a dedicated player such as yourself. If you need any help next month getting into congress I will be more than happy to help you.

4. If anyone has questions about any law, or anything at all just send me a PM and I’ll be more than happy to explain my thoughts on it as well as all the issues on it. In addition I am planning on writing articles about any controversial-esque law to inform everyone of what is up.

Once again I’d like to say thank you to everyone who supported me, and sorry to Josh.
I hope everyone is having a great day 🙂
