A Stronger eIreland

Greetings my fellow eIrishmen (and women)!

Well, as usual, in the lead up to an election, you find your Friend Feed filled with a flurry of campaign articles all filled with lots of information.

I hope you find this article filled with the kind of information that you will find useful to your game play here in eIreland.

The one thing that is important in any game is activity. You do not win if you do not play. However, this is not a new idea, rather it is a fact.

So, how does this fact relate to eRepublic, eIreland, and Ethel Rosenberg’s campaign for CP?



Obviously, I am an active player, but that is not what I want to talk to you about today. What I want to talk to you about today is what eIreland is doing to help support your activity and I want to talk to you about some ideas that I have to expand what we are currently doing to encompass more citizens.

As I hope all of you are aware, the eIrish government is directly supplying tanks to its citizens via their IRC channel #IrishArmy. The rules are simple: come on IRC when you have health, fill out a form and a supplier will send you Q6 weapons and direct you too a battle where your damage is most needed.

I have been one of those suppliers since day 1610 – some 45 days ago – and in those 45 days I have given out just over 5,000 Q6 weapons to those requesting supplies. That seemed impressive to me. However, I was even more impressed by this - in the past week, all of the suppliers have given out just over 400 weapons per day. A dramatic number, don’t you think? It is to me because that equates to over 2400 hits per day from the citizens who request weapons.

However, I think we could increase this number significantly if we expand our program beyond IRC to include the place where we are trying to increase activity – eRepublik itself. What if you did not have to go anywhere but the game to ask for weapons to fight? I think this would see a drastic increase in activity from us all.



Therefore, I will begin the funding of weapons directly in game – you will still need to fill in a Google document for supplies, but there will no longer be the requirement to go on IRC. For those not going on IRC, but receiving weapons in game only, the orders they would be required to follow will be posted via the MoD articles. The MoD article will contain the link for the Google document; you will just need to follow the most recent order for where to fight.

With this simple adjustment to this program, I hope radically increase the number of weapons given out to the citizens of eIreland.
