A few good men!

Many of us know this term, but we usually corroborate it with the title of a Hollywood blockbuster starring Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson. Only a few know the story behind this term.

It was used the first time in 20 March 1779 by William Jones, Captain of Marines in Boston’s Providence Gazette. After some time, the US Navy took the motto and used it for recruiting marines. Today, we are going to give it a different meaning.

I am truly a very young player. As a newly born, I started to read the press and the eRepublik’s wiki page, to learn my way around the game. My first days brought me in contact with a few good men, who took the time to listen and teach. Some good men who gave me a sense of direction, a hope and a goal. I have to thank them every day of my e-life, for they gave without pretending anything in return.

Today, for me, Ion Vlahu, is a sad day. A day of sorrow and defeat. Today one of the few good men passed away. From today onwards, Xigna, is no more. Our good men, are getting fewer and fewer.

I hope this article is not an obituary but a call for our good men to step up and support Xigna.

Beyond political disputes, beyond day to day animosities, beyond everything that divides us, let us today be good men. For Xigna!
