Found a great new site. Just figured I'd share it with you guys.

"Well, class," the teacher said. "Today we're going to talk about heroes."

It was a familiar lesson.

"Does anyone know what characteristics define a hero?" the teacher asked. "Anyone?"

"A hero must be willing to sacrifice himself for others," one of the students said.
"And must be kind and compassionate and nice to everyone!" someone else chimed in.

"Yes, yes." the teacher said. "These are all things that define a hero. But they are also things which anyone can do. What makes a hero so special? Yes?"

"Well," one of the students said. "A hero has to be strong. Strong enough protect people."
"And a secret identity!" someone said. "Every hero needs a secret identity. Otherwise they wouldn't... if everyone knew who they were, they would be so easy to kill!"

"Yes... yes..." the teacher said, as a stream of drool slid down from his open mouth. "And how can we recognize heroes? Does anyone know? Anyone?"

"Heroes wear masks!"
"And capes!"
"And they always have a catchphrase!"
"They can leap over buildings!"
"Run through walls and lift cars!"
"Fly!"

"These are all ways to recognize a hero," the teacher said. "It's good to see you've all been paying attention these last few days. But now comes the most important part." The teacher paused a moment to catch his breath. The excitement in the room was palpable. "Why do we learn all these things about heroes?"

His words were met by silence as each student considered the question. And then they burst out in shouting, spastic and dense.

"So we can kill them!"
"And eat them!"
"And eat their flesh!"
"The living flesh!"

"Yes! Yes!" the teacher cried, and as one the class shouted and stomped and clicked their mandibles in glee.
