Greetings, dear citizens of the eRepublik world,


Today we have witnessed another tragic event in our cruel world.Turkey and Syria suffered from a major disaster - enormous 7.6 and 7.7 magnitude earthquakes shook these two neighboring countries, taking away thousands of innocent people's lives, destroying thousands of buildings and shattering thousands of fates.


Scientific agency of the US government reported that after two disastrous earthquakes, there were 50 more smaller ones (of a magnitude 4.3 or greater) in these areas. Every one of them was felt by every human being in their hearts knowing that they were gonna take more and more lives further.


More than 40 countries have already offered humanitarian help to Turkey and Syria. Including both sides involved in Ukraine - Russia war, which are at war since 2022 February 24th.




This game is hardly separable from real life, we all know it. And if a country of this game suffers from a disaster, the eRepublick world feels that too. It impacts all the players and all e-countries here and it does not matter if we are on the same side or we are “enemies” here.


Asteria and Hydra are stopping all military operations toward Turkey for a week as a sign of human pain, understanding, and support for this beautiful country and amazing people, who had to experience this horror.


Turkey and Syria - stay strong. You are not alone in the real world nor the game. Human lives, unity, and peace are more important than a game. Always. Eternally.
