So...how is everybody? What's goin' on with all of you? How's life? 🙂
I'm kinda bored and just felt like writing a pretty random article. My life:
-Yesterday I got kneed in the head while playing the tee game in my pool (anybody know that game?) and now my head is throbbing. xD

-JHUNTER, my RL brother, left for camp today. I get a four and a half days without him!! lol
-Is anybody else here a RL hunter? Because bear hunting season is coming up in early September! My oldest brother has killed a bear (at age 16) but JHUNTER and I haven't. At my grandmother's farm there are two huge bears that we've spotted and baited...that means one for each of us...muahaha!

-JHUNTER's 16th birthday is in August and I'm trying to figure out something to give him. I might try to have people IG give him gold and other gifts (like last year) but he's quit eRepublik, so I'm fresh out of ideas. Anybody have ideas?
-I got injured at camp...we played mud kickball where the bases are huge mud pits and you have to slide on a soapy tarp into the mudpit without getting hit in order to be safe. Sliding into home I got a huge gash on my knee. Since I'm a girl, all my girl friends were freaking out at the sight of blood (mixed with mud) gushing down my leg. I was just proud of my battle wound. xD

-Also at camp, I got blobbed! If you don't know, a blob is this huge bag of air (kind of) that floats on the edge of a lake. A person jumps onto it (after climbing the ladder) and crawls to the end. Then a heavier person jumps onto it, sending the first person flying into the air and then landing in the lake. In my case, it was EPIC! I'm about 90 lbs (hehe) and the guy that launched me was about 290 lbs...so I kinda went flying. I decided to cannonball, but I first did I bunch of flips in the air then cannonballed into the water so hard it knocked the wind out of me. My whole body also went numb. The camera guy said it was the highest blob he's seen in ten years. 🙂

-My oldest brother just turned 20 on Thursday. TWENTY! That's old to me. xD (No offense to all you old people playing eRep and reading this. Haha)
-My parents own this business where we buy distressed townhouses/condos, fix it up, and rent it out. Now we're working on one and I have to work almost everyday on fixing and cleaning up the place. At least my parents pay me. 😛
Anyway...this article's kinda random, but at least I busied myself for a bit. And hopefully you, too. xD

Oh dear... 😃 Yes, poor Jogi. I'll have to skip that part of the article. But the rest really sounds awesome. Even if there are a lot of injuries - there is a saying around my parts: "It will get healed by the time you get married" 😃 A bit old fashioned, but it still sounds funny to me 😉

I don't want to upset anyone but animal rights people need to realize that culling the herd is normal in rural areas. We don't have any bear this far north mostly because the forest is not dense enough but we have tons of white tail deer. Possibly 10 or 15 years ago some representative got a law passed to curb deer hunting around St Louis (could have been Kansas City). People were crying that winter as thousands of deer were being mowed down on city streets wreaking their fancy cars. Deer were destroying their manicured shrubs and literally starving to death dropping dead in their lawns. The State of Missouri is not responsible for damage done by wildlife nor for the removal of the dead bodies. Police and State Conservation agents went to work and killed over 700 deer (I think it was) to prevent a disaster.
Forgot to mention that I personally don't hunt. I'm not even especially fond of cleaning catfish or crappie. 🙂

Yes, I live in Minnesota where there is a dangerous population of both white tail deer and black bears AND coyotes. Hunting is actual so needed that the state of Minnesota has been giving out free licences to hunt coyotes. Many white tail deer are constantly being killed in the streets and starving because of overpopulation.
My view on it this: would you rather have these animals die by car, starvation, or a quick bullet?
Also, we eat only some of the meat, but actually give most of it away to families who are financially struggling to buy food. So not are we only sparing the animals of a gruesome death, but we're using their meat for good reasons. In the end, it's better than seeing a bunch of dead animals lying around on the side of the road. That does make me sad. 🙁
So that's my explanation of why I hunt. 🙂
It's also a family tradition and it makes my dad extremely happy. It has been passed down form generation to generation on my dad's side (my dad grew up on a farm, my grandpa grew up on that same farm, and so on). Hunting is actually the way my dad most bonds with me because we spend hours and hours together in a tree without any electronics. And he's really proud of me when his 'little princess' carries out his family tradition and kills a deer.
So I'm sorry if you don't like it, but hunting helps my family bond and we spare the animals of bad deaths and we help feed needy families. Overall, it does pay off. 🙂
