Join the new world

Last couple of days has provided us more fun than the last several months all together. We went out of our safe zone and did some action which could finally see us all fighting together where it was needed. We'll surely need more of the same in the coming year.

Firstly, I'd like to congratulate The Netherlands for their brave fighting and quality trolling. We've never showed any hate towards this small community that shares the same difficulties as we are. They're one of the rare small countries still trying hard and working their way into global politics and we were happy to provide some fun for them too.



Our neighbours have been getting closer to the Code which got them into the signing an agreement published about a month ago. The agreement was signed by Andes (our friendly southamerican alliance), Code (our alliance) & UK. However, since our last Government didn't put much effort in the deal due to being occupied with some other stuff we weren't informed about it, either through the alliance nor internally. Northern Ireland has been listed as the last part of treaty saying "Northern Ireland will be held by a CODE/ANDES member until the UK agrees to a third TW or requests it’s release". Our country has joined Code with a strong opinion over the Northern Ireland. One of the first things we've been discussing even before joining was a fact we consider that region as rightfully ours. There's been understanding about it and it was working pretty well in the start.

However, since early summer Northern Ireland has been out of our reach. Many Governments including the Slua's has been requesting the region back, but there was always something more important going on there. We've rarely been consulted about what's going to happen there and who's going to be brought.

Rusty has decided to gift Northern Ireland as a Christmas present to our community. It was supposed to get us more active again, more up for the fights. Unfortunatly, we didn't know about the agreement listed up above. Code has already organized a TW in that area in the meantime so when we proposed declaration of war Finland has already had theirs. Since, Code insisted on Finland taking the region we went a bit rebellious and attacked Wales. UK didn't provide almost any resistance there and we easily conqured it.

After the hours of discussion, which wasn't very nice all of the time we've decided to give up Wales and wait for the next opportunity over Northern Ireland. In the meantime some other stuff happenned and we were needed by our allies somewhere else anyway, so all this about UK was delayed for some future times. I'll just give praise to Finland who has been a perfect TW partner all the way, they're the ones who expressed their apologises for going as planned even though it didn't seemed right. Kudos to our Finnish brothers.



After the invasion on Wales our friends from Bosnia & Herzegovina needed a hand against the Netherlands. Someone in the alliance asked for an airstrike on Holland and since we lost the chance for a war on UK we've decided to go for another target. This one, however, proved to be much more than we expected. Once smaller than us, but during the last several months they've been growing hard. We've attacked them expecting a great fight, but it ended with our defeat.

With a strong Asterian support and a great, brave fighting Holland has beaten Ireland in the best battle we've had during the last few years. It showed all of our weaknesses, especially in ground rounds. Holland also had a strong support by Asteria, especially in their air rounds when bot networks did most of the job for them. I was sorry to see them coming up with that, but that surely doesn't mean the Netherlands cheated their way to the victory. They deserved it more, it was just a black spot on it. I am hoping all the bot networks will be banned in the future, they are destroying the communities, efforts of all the MU's and are a disgrace to this game, no matter which side.

Dutch official Government has published a nice article about these wars which shows how good they did. Just a day before our battle kicked in they had a equally good war with Bosnia & Herzegovina, which means their task was much bigger than ours.

This war has surely given us something to fight for, an idea of where we are at this moment and unfortunatly it showed how small countries can't do much against the bigger ones.



Our alliance - Code has been fighting hard for months now. We are very proud to be on the side with our friends as we always were, regardless of the balance in the eWorld. We're on the same side for ages now. We've been fighting with our friends when we had only 30% of world's damage, we've been a part of the group when we had a strong dominance during the last few months. I don't think anyone can look at Ireland and say we're there only when it's good.

However, our alliance has some issues and it needs to be said. There's no point hiding them from the public because that's not how the issues are being fixed. As most of you know Code doesn't have any organizational structure, we don't have representatives and we don't have anyone who'd be in charge of communication between the alliance members. It's literally few channels where people discuss things. It needs to be handled better.

I am responsible to the people of Ireland and when we were joining the alliance our people knew there will be no organization in start. However, we've been expecting that to be changed soon. Since our side has been stronger before these events which gave some advantage to the other alliance which has more players all of the weaknesses of our side has been put under the light now. If a member of Code calls for wiping Ireland, even jokingly without any sanctions there's a problem.

You just can't have an alliance and be on the winning side for long with no organization. It all works well when you're much stronger, but when we're in the balance it just won't work anymore. Our side has some great tacticians, we have active people who are creative enough to come up with the 'train' tactics which proved to be great. What we have a strong lack of is organization and as the representative of eIreland there I need to say that's just unacceptable. We'll be looking to change that in the future days and weeks because if the situation doesn't change we won't be able to do much more than just being there on the channels and ask for the hits in lower divisions.

I'm urging our brothers from allied countries to consider this as a friendly advice, which was already given on the alliance's channels.



Eire 2020. is our new national strategy for the next year. Most of its segments has been tested and are ready to be implemented. It all sounds very apstractive at this moment, but when we start working on it and presenting its parts it will all sound much clearer.

Our new national strategy is probably the most radical change this game has seen so far. It's made of military reorganization, radical economic strategies and lots of other stuff which will make the e-life much different for the average Irish citizen. There's not many of us left, now less than ever, we could see that during the recent wars. It's rich to say we have over 20 active citizens. Even among those who are here there are not many who will stay in this country forever. We need to work with what we have and that's not much.

Our military reorganization will see our army into three different MU's. One for the elite ground fighters, those who earn it. They will have the best possible supplies and will be encouraged to keep doing what they do already. The second one will be made of our Air Corps. They'll have organized strikes all the time and will be mostly made of all the active air fighters. Last one will be Irish Army as we know already, made of the regular players, 2-clickers and those who aren't using their potential just yet. The economic strategies and other changes will all be put under the use of the military segment, however, they'll be so radical I expect many complaints in the start. As a teaser I'll just explain it as a full e-Communist economic mode.
