[MoFA] Modern Day Heroes: Macedonia and Bulgaria

Day 3,745, 07:05 Published in United Kingdom North Macedonia by Foreign Office

Ooooh that new banner is awfully sexy

o7 eUK. Now you may remember a little series that my predecessor did last month, the MoFA Top of the Pops in which he ran down ten of the closest relationships (both allies and enemies) we have had, in our TOTAL HISTORY as an eNation.

Now there are two noticeable exceptions here. Understandable, it was looking at our closest relationships throughout our entire history. However in recent times there have been two special nations in particular that have meant a lot to us here in eUK.

Bulgaria

The first of which is the great nation of Bulgaria.
Bulgaria have offered us nothing but constant support in recent times. Indeed, as long as I can personally remember of this game (and I am not even that old in the grand scheme of things) they have been a constant prescence. When everyone else dropped the Bulgarian MPP, we said no. We don't follow no crowd. We support Bulgaria and kept the relationship going strong, and we have tried hard to repay each other in gratitude and favours ever since. Particularly around my time in ORION on the committee as well as just in general when I was CP and MoFA for my two year stint. Bulgaria were then a powerhouse who helped the eUK out greatly, as we pledged to help them out in any and all endeavours.

Now, they were not alone in supporting the eUK during my time as MoFA and to this day. Another country with great and immense presence was, Macedonia.

From day 1 the eUK have supported Macedonia, and it was two UK leaders who got them straight into an alliance, by the name of PHOENIX. Now, in my relatively short time in this game, I have done a lot of things. Part of that was being the Minister for Foreign Affairs for the United Kingdom (minus a few months as CP in-between) for over 2 years continuously. In these two years a lot less would have been achieved without the might of Bulgaria and Macedonia, so I would like to personally, and on behalf of the eUnited Kingdom offer our thanks, and love to Macedonia and Bulgaria.

Here's to our years of friendship, and here's to hopefully many more!

o7 Friends, until next time!
