oggi il Ministero degli Affari Esteri vi porta l’intervista fatta dal MoFa AdrianoDeMeis a Frank Maiden, eminente giocatore argentino, attivo diplomatico e in ultimo presidente del suo paese.


ADM: Mi chiamo Adriano e sono il MoFa italiano; mi farebbe piacere fare la tua conoscenza e vorrei farlo attraverso un’intervista, che verrà pubblicata in un articolo governativo. 😃
Come prima domanda, amico mio, iniziamo con una cosa semplice, che è: ami l’Italia e gli italiani? Se sì, perché?

FM: Sì, mi piacciono gli italiani e l’Italia... Penso che il fattore principale sia la RL, perchè nessuno può odiare gli italiani (tranne gli sloveni 😛) ... avete il vino, la pizza, la pasta, le lasagne, le feste, mafiosi e berlusconi... come puoi odiare queste cose?
Inoltre alcuni miei parenti sono italiani e in argentina parliamo come le persone del centro-sud.
Lo scorso mese ho avuto un coordinamento serrato e altro con il tuo cp, quindi non so, un ragazzo un pò cool come tutti… A proposito, ero disposto a sposare joms, era un patto segreto tra me e creepy ma lui non fa la sua parte… aspetto ancora.


ADM: Hai detto di aver lavorato a stretto contatto con il nostro CP: è stata una cosa redditizia? E, nella tua opinione, come saranno le relazioni dei due paesi in futuro?

FM: Hmm sì. Abbiamo lavorato insieme durante tutto il mese, coordinandoci e pianificando le cose, discutendo riguardo alcune strategie e sul come farle funzionare.
Non poteva andare peggio, nel senso, una delle due avrebbe dovuto rompere con l’altra, c’è sempre una chance per migliorare le cose quindi spero che il prossimo governo incluso quello che c’è adesso continueranno a tenere i contatti finchè non faremo un PTO...voglio dire, finché non diventeremo stretti collaboratori.


ADM: Vero, nello scorso mese la coordinazione fra Italia-Argentina è stata proficua, il che vuol dire che questa è la strada giusta!
E come sempre per quanto riguarda il futuro diplomatico dei due paesi, in questo momento, la situazione sembra bloccata a causa di Asteria-Pacifica.
Pensi che questa cosa rimarrà così ancora per molto tempo? O presto ci sarà un risvolto interessante nel gioco?

FM: E’ fermo così da tempo, più di due anni, ma non perché siano migliori amici, ma perchè abbiamo fatto mosse stupide e gli abbiamo dato una ragione per i*cul****.
Non dipende da loro, perchè loro non vogliono, stanno farmando felicemente, ma dipende dalle nazioni che sono occupate dalle nazioni delle due alleanze.
Questa è una delle due opzioni, l’altra potrebbe essere che una grande nazione batta i pugni sul tavolo, se ne freghi e cambi sponda.


ADM: In una situazione bloccata come questa, dove sembra che niente possa cambiare, molti player smettono di giocare e abbandonano erep: come sei arrivato in questo gioco? E cosa ti ha spinto a non lasciare?

FM: Mi iscrissi a eRepublik nel 2009, dopo un concerto degli Iron Maiden qui in Argentina, ecco il perchè del nome.
Sono ancora qui perchè è uno strumento, la maggior parte delle volte, per uscire dalla realtà e diventare qualcuno che non sarò nella vita reale, come un diplomatico o un presidente. Non ho la cattiveria necessaria per quelle cariche.
Rimango qui giusto per il divertimento che rimane in questo gioco, ovvero la parte sociale, purtroppo non tutti capiscono che questo è un gioco e si atteggiano con odio e cose varie della RL, ma questo è quello che mi tiene attaccato al gioco..
Non mi arrenderò, ho un sacco di eLavoro da fare… non ancora, non ancora.


ADM: Hai detto che eRepublik permette una evasione dalla RL e per molti è un modo per realizzare cose che non potrebbero fare in real. Secondo te, questa motivazione è più forte nei giocatori di paesi come Slovenia, Serbia e Romania i quali hanno poca importanza nella real?
E’ forse il revanscismo il segreto della loro potenza?

FM: Beh, quello dipende a ogni giocatore, ogni persona ha il suo carattere.
Dopo una giornata di studio del corpo umano con le sue complessità e i suoi difetti e il lavorare tentando di insegnare qualcosa a dei tipi che non vogliono imparare niente, entrare qui e vedere alcuni PM’s, o un messaggio su Whatsapp con una battuta su eRepublik o un commento su un difetto dell’Argentina o non so, darmi del gay a causa di ladybeard o altro del genere rendono la mia giornata un pò migliore.
Ovviamente altri pensano che pagare per i packs, grandi carri armati e robe del genere li rendano migliori ed è ovvio che la provenienza est Europea influenzi molto il gioco, è risaputo che le cose tra loro non vanno bene per motivi in RL.
E’ triste, perché loro giocano con l’odio verso gli altri, ma non tutti sono così, giusto alcuni...
L’odio tra noi è dovuto alle guerre in RL ed è ovvio che esso ti dia forza ma per fortuna qui non si muore a causa di esso.


ADM: Pensi che il gioco sarebbe meglio se si lasciasse che le persone si detestino?

FM: Non lo so, la rivalità è un bene, l’odio no, perchè poi smette di essere divertente e diventa vendetta personale.
Non so se il gioco potrebbe diventare migliore, potrebbe diventare migliore se i visa players non fossero divinità ma solo normali giocatori.


ADM: Quindi, sappiamo che sei un giocatore con molta esperienza e che hai ricoperto importanti ruoli per il tuo paese. Vuoi condividere un pò della tua conoscenza con i giovani giocatori che stanno leggendo? Cosa gli raccomandi in particolare?

FM: Beh, il gioco è cambiato molto da quando ero solito ricoprire dei ruoli nel mio paese.
Prima che nascessero le MU ( ma anche dopo) usavamo IRC e ci coordinavamo con gli alleati.
Adesso tutte le nazioni dipendono dalla scelta dei visa players di schierarsi o meno dalla tua parte e se loro fanno un colpo di stato addio, ti ritrovi la Nazione governata da quattro imbecilli che fanno quello che vogliono perché hanno i soldi.
Nel modulo militare non c’è molto che puoi fare se hai meno di 170/180 mila di forza, ti conviene comprare un account con quella forza (puoi trovare account interessanti per prezzi non molto alti). Compra qualche pack e inizia a rubare bh e combattere per i CO.
Per quanto riguarda il modulo economico la situazione è abbastanza incasinata, quindi conviene farmare in USA producendo li e sperare che ci sia una vera guerra o qualcosa che ti permetta di arricchirti.
Per la politica, se la tua nazione non ha subito un PTO, prova a imparare più che puoi dai tuoi superiori.
Evita di essere odiato, ricorda, è (o forse era) un social game dove incontri persone, parli, e ti comporti come un Presidente o un Ministro.
Se sei fortunato e hai agito bene, diventerai un idiota come me che non ha precedenti militari ma dovresti essere in grado di goderti il modulo politico e conoscere gente che potrebbe diventare tua amica. Poi rendere le vostre nazioni alleate e formare un’alleanza come abbiamo fatto con la Serbia anni fa.
“Mi aiuti?”
“Ti aiuto, tu mi aiuti?”
“Si”
E’ così che è nata l’alleanza.
Non è così difficile.


ADM: Bene, possiamo terminare qui l’intervista.
Come ultima domanda, che mi viene spontanea da chiederti: c’è qualcosa che vorresti dire ai nostri lettori?

FM: Rilassatevi, provate a godervi il gioco e preparatevi perchè sto pianificando un PTO all’Italia, o almeno diventerò CP usando molti “amici”. 😛

ADM: Hello Frank, I'm Adriano, mofa of eItaly; I would like to have the pleasure of doing your knowledge and to for this I want propose you to get you an interview, that the government will publish in an article 😃
As a first question my friend, let's start with an easy thing, that is: you love Italy and italians? And why?

FM: Yeah, I love italians and Italy... I guess it comes from RL, I mean, nobody can hate italians (Except slovenians) ... you guys have wine, pizza, pasta, lasagna, party, naughty italians and berlusconi... How can you hate That?
Also some family members are sons of italians and we in Argentina speak like center-southern italians.
Last month I was very close to you coordinating and stuff with your CP, so dunno, just a cool guy as all of you... By the way, another thing was that I was suppposed to marry Jomvs or something like that, It was a secret pact between Creepy and I but he did not make his part... I'm still waiting for her


ADM: So, did you tell us that you worked closely with our cp creepyraimbow: was it a profitable relationship? And, in your opinion, how will the relations between italy and argentina evolve in the future?

FM: Hmm yes. Well, we worked together the whole month, cordinating and planning stuff, discuss about some strategies and how to make it work some things.
I don't think they can be worse, I mean, 1 of the two countries would have to screw it up, there is always a chance to get things better so I hope that next govts including this one would get closer and closer until we PTO , I mean, we get to be really close friends


ADM: True, last month Italia-Argentina coordination was tight and profitable, the way is the right one!
And always with regard to future international developments, at this time, the situation seems to be blocked because of the duopoly Asteria-Pacifica:
Do you think that this state will last for a long time? Or could there be a way out?

FM: It's been stating for long time, more than 2 years, but not because they are the best friends of all time, because we made silly moves and gave them a reason to kick our asses.
It does not depend only in them to break, because they won’t, they are farming and they are happy with it, it depends on the countries that are being occupied and being attacked by the two alliances.
That’s one way out, the other way out could be that some major country of the allied ones just kick the table, say "fuck it" to everything and change sides with no regrets.


ADM :In a situation blocked like this, where it seems that nothing changes, many player stop to play and abandoning erep: how do you come to erep? And what drives you to not give up?

FM: I came to eRep in 2009, after a concert of Iron Maiden here in argentina, thats why the nickname.
I'm still here because its a way for me, at least in most times, to get out of the reality, to be someone I won’t be in real life, such as a diplomat, president. I dont have the evilness required for those charges .
Just the fun that still remains in this game, which is the social part, sadly not everybody understands this is a game and act with so much RL hate and stuff, but that is what keeps me attached to.
I won't give up, I have a lot of eWork to do... not yet, not yet.


ADM: Taking it back, you say that erep is a real life evasion and for many it's a way of realizing things that you really can not do. In your opinion, are these motivations stronger in players of countries like Slovenia, Serbia and Romania because of their low importance in real terms? Is the feeling of rivalry perhaps the secret of their power?

FM: Well, that depends on every player, every persone as an unique individual.
After a day of studying the human body with all his complexity and defects, and working trying to teach some guys who dont want to learn a thing but yet I have to teach them, entering here and seeing some PM's, or a whatsapp with a eR joke or a comentary about some defect of Argentina or I dont know, like I'm gay because of LadyBeard and stuff, it makes my day a little bit better
Of course other guys thinks that paying $$ for packs, big tanks and stuff like that makes them greater, and of course that Eastern Europe has a lot to do with RL, It is known that things are not ok between them for things beyond the game.
It is sad, because they are playing and their motivation is the hate against the other ones, however not everybody is like this, just a few...
The hate between us started RL wars and big ones... its far obvious that it gives you power, luckily here, no one is going to die because of that.


ADM: Does this thing you said about the tendency that some people have to move the real into the game, poses heavy conditioning on it? Do you think the game would be better by letting hate itself?

FM: I dont know, rivalry is good, hate not, because it stops being funny, it becames a personal revenge for some stuff.
I dont know if the game could be better, the game could be better if the visa players wouldnt be gods and just regular players.


ADM: So, we know that you are a very experienced player, and that you have played
important roles for your country. Do you want to share some of your knowledge with the young people who are reading us? What do you recommend them in particular?

FM: Well, game has changed a lot since I used to played roles in my country.
Back in the day we all used IRC, no MUs and after MUs were created we still used IRC and coordinated mobile groups or battles with allies.
Nowadays all countries depends on visa being on your side or you get a coup and bye bye, country being ruled by four assholes that do what they want because they've got the money.
In the military module there aint much you can do, if you are less 170k/180k strenght , just buy an account with that str, you can find interesting accounts for no that much money. buy some packs and start stealing BH's and fighting for CO
In the economical, its screwed aswell, so set up a farm in USA and start producing there and hope that a real war explodes or something so you can get rich
In the political, if your country is not TO by some dickheads with money, just try to learn as much as you can from your superiors, and do it step by step.
Avoid being hated, remember, its or it used to be a social game, you meet people, you talk, you assume roles, President, Ministers, so you should act as one.
If you are lucky and you did things right, you will up being an idiot like me with no military records, but you should be able to enjoy the political module and known by some guys, that can be your friends, and make your countries allies, and end up together in an alliance, as we did with Serbia years ago,

As a last question, I am spontaneous to ask: at the end of this interview, is there something you feel about telling all our readers?

FM: Just to chill out, try to enjoy the game and prepare yourselves because im planning to TO italy, or at least become CP by using a lot of "friends" 😛
