Orion
Orion has a new Secretary General! Mixliarder from Estonia was elected leader of our alliance after a close vote between him and Ali Gual from Cuba. Mixliarder to lead our alliance for the unforeseen future. He will also test some buttons if what he told us during the meeting is to be believed. During the meeting the eNetherlands was represented by Arcanic Mindje, Janty F and Shawtyl0w.

Hydra
A new alliance!? Yes Hydra has been formed by Pro-Asterian countries. Some of these countries are very familiar to us. France and Lithuania are former members of the Orion alliance. The republic of Macedonia and Latvia are the two other countries with whom our friends together from Hydra. The alliance was created after Lithuania left Asteria.

Asteria
A few months ago Bulgaria joined the Asteria alliance. Even though Bulgaria has been an ally of Asteria for a long time the official membership means Asteria has become significantly stronger on paper. As mentioned before Lithuania left the alliance and is now a founding member of Hydra. Asteria has been under attack by the alliance of anti-Asterian countries. Last months events have shown that Asteria can be hurt as Iran was wiped of the map and Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia had to help our Iranian brothers to liberate their region. This spring event might bring another war between these two giant power fronts in the eWorld. With an advantage in terms of pack players for the anti-Asterian countries the war will surely be one that is very interesting! If this war does start and players have these amazing levels of energy recover (112 energy per 6 minutes) we can expect some fireworks!



The ministry at work!
Recently the minister of foreign affairs has reached out to some of our allies and friends. The eNetherlands is looking for a new training war partner. Congress has been presented with several options, these options are discussed in private after which several new mutual protection pacts will most likely be signed. In the meantime the mutual protection pact with Canada has been renewed.

Russia – Our former MoFA has established a good relationships with mielga a prominent politician in eRussia. This term nimnul is the minister of foreign affairs in Russia. Nimnul is not an unfamiliar face in the governments of Russia. In earlier times nimnul together with simust2 were responsible for signing an MPP with the eNetherlands. We’re hoping to continue our good relationship and depending on the decision of congress a mutual protection pact might be signed.

Portugal – Our alliance member Cuba has always had an amazing relationship with Portugal. In the past year the eNetherlands and ePortugal have also signed several mutual protection pacts. With Pisco Soares not in the government this month it was a pleasure to speak with Yoradorc. Once again we’re hoping to continue our good relationship and depending on the decision of congress a mutual protection pact might be signed.

Finland – Yes, eFinland! After having a strong personal relationship with several eFinnish players the minister of foreign affairs has reached out to Finland. Finland is a country who is partly pro- and anti- Asteria. Building a relationship with eFinland can help strengthen the international position of the eNetherlands. We’re hoping to build upon our relationship and depending on the decision of congress a mutual protection pact might be signed.

After writing most of this article a day before publishing the MoFA has received information that because of strategic considerations Finland has declined our respectfull request. Ofcourse we do not feel offended or anything like that. Every country should act in their best interest. We will however continue to stay in contact to build a stronger relationship with the government and citizens of Finland.
