[Fed] Keep On Cruisin'

Day 2,737, 12:22 Published in USA Argentina by bigcdizzle

Hey guys, It’s time for me to write article number 2 of the term. We’re 4 days in, and I’m already setting activity records for myself.

(I kid)

Music time.

So quite a bit has happened since our last sit down, and I would like to take some time to talk about all of the recent excitement in a completely frank manner. As most of you know, I’m not one to beat around the bush, and that won’t change today.

Helping friends

On election day, our fellow Top 5 party, USWP, came under a domestic PTO attack, in the form of others (who have not been named, and will not be accused here) voting for a non-endorsed candidate for PP. Now let me be very clear, I do not believe that this was a plot by Officer Friendly. From what I understand, he seems to be a good guy. He just made a mistake by being on the ballot, and others used him for their purpose.

All of this being said, The Feds were quick to send votes to USWP to help ensure that their officially elected candidate won the in game election. The Feds have a long standing tradition of helping other parties in the face of PTO, whether we agree with the circumstances or not. A strong group of parties helps to create a strong America, and we Feds have long held the creed of Country>Party>Self. It was because of that that I asked Feds to help out USWP. As long as I am here, I will always choose to help other parties against any threat, no matter what form that threat takes.

Dumbassery Rogue Proposals

The other big event of the week was the rogue revolution that dethroned our dictator. The truth of the situation is that the revolution did nothing but cost the eUS time and funds in order to reestablish our congressionally approved dictatorship. As detailed in our President's statement, this does nothing to help us, and quite a bit to hurt us.

Now we have to get to that not beating around the bush part... I am not a fan of the dictatorship model. I believe that it is slowly killing our country, and would love to see it dissolved. That being said, the only way to do that is through the correct channels. I will not support illegal rogue proposals, whether they line up with my beliefs or not. Those who do, are doing nothing but creating derision and infighting where we could honestly be discussing the merits of doing away with the dictatorship. Those who have taken it upon themselves to attack the country with their illegal revolution, have done nothing but hurt our chances of creating real change.

The country is more important than my personal opinions, and I, along with the Federalist party, will always choose the good of the country over what may be good for us. IF that means, supporting the dictatorship model for the time being, then so be it.

Congress

As most of you know, the congressional elections are coming up soon, and the Feds are preparing for our best congress ever. If you're interested in representing the Federalist party in congress, come fill out an application. We will be reviewing each of them, and choosing the best of the best to help us in congress next month. Once our congress list is crafted, I have no doubt it will be the best that America has to offer. If you have any questions about our approach to congress, or how to get a spot on the ballot, message me. I will give you a hand.

Being Fed

If you're out there looking for a party to call home, come check out the Federalist Party. We are a tight knit family, who values the good of the country above all else. We have been a constant in the eUS political scene for years, and know how to balance work with fun. Our forum is the place to be, whether you enjoy serious ePolitical discussions, or just fun forum games. Come check it out, and get to know some of the best people in the world. Our IRC channel, #fedpartychat, is a great place to hang out, and meet the who's who of the eUS.

I can say honestly that the Feds have been a family to me since I joined this game over 3 years ago, and they are the real reason that I continue to play. If you give the party a chance, I'm sure you'll feel the same way.

If you do have a chance to stop by the forum, make sure to check out my new Ask the PP thread. It's a place where any Feds can come to me with questions or comments. I'm looking for input from the party, and am open to anything. So give me your best, I'm looking forward to it.

Also, The Federalist party is looking for more members to get involved in leadership. If you have the desire to help the party, and maybe get your name out there in ePolitics, message me, and we'll work something out. Nearly every department is looking for workers, and as long as you're willing to help, no one will be turned away.

That's it for today. Make sure to vote and share, and come hang out with me on IRC and the fed forum.
