In meiner heutigen Ausgabe möchte ich mir den Einfluss der Admins, also der Spielleitung, auf das Spiel ansehen.

Natürlich ist jedem bekannt, dass die Admins nicht nur die Regeln machen und sondern diese auch durchsetzen. Als letzte Instanz haben sie absolute Entscheidungsgewalt darüber ob und wie die Regeln ausgelegt werden. Ebenso sollte jedem bekannt sein dass es in eRepublik so viel Betrug (hauptsächlich Multis und Tools) gibt wie in fast keinem anderen Spiel. Und dass manche Länder (allen voran Rumänien) besser behandelt werden als andere.

Davon möchte ich hier und heute aber nicht sprechen, sondern mir zwei handfeste Beispiele ansehen wie die Admins aktiv in das Spiel eingreifen.

Fall 1: Saudi Arabien

Wie ich in einem früheren Artikel berichtet habe wurden von den Admins 3 neue Länder (Saudi Arabien, Vereinigte Arabische Emirate und Ägypten) eingeführt. Diese sollen wohl arabische Spieler anziehen, denen weder Iran noch Pakistan als Alternative genügen. Soweit gibt es hier kein Problem.
Allerdings wurde schnell klar, dass fremde Kräfte (allen voran Rumänien) versuchten, Saudi Arabien zu übernehmen. Wieso wird auch schnell klar wenn man sich die Ressourcenverteilung ansieht: 4 x Grain und 5 x Öl!
Auch das ist eigentlich normal im Spiel. Aber was nicht normal ist, ist die Tatsache das Plato (der Ober-Admin) ohne Wahl Präsident von Saudi-Arabien wurde. Und was war das erste was er in dieser Funktion machte? Er schließt einen MPP mit Rumänien!
Als das letzte Mal neue Länder ins Spiel kamen hatten diese MPPs mit allen Ländern in MPP.

Die Admins haben natürlich das recht ihr eigenes Spiel zu spielen. Sie haben aber nicht das Recht die Führung von Ländern an sich zu reißen, um dann auch noch Verträge mit ihrem RL Land zu schließen. Ich kann gar nicht ausdrücken auf wie vielen Ebenen so ein Verhalten falsch ist!

Fall 2: Geldfälscherei

Ja ihr habt richtig gelesen. Wenn man von Geldfälscherei spricht, wenn jemand anderer als der Staat Geld druckt, dann fälschen die Admins Geld!
Aber immer der Reihe nach.

Wie wir alle wissen können Manager seit einiger Zeit selber in ihren Firmen arbeiten. Schön für sie? Ja. Schön für den Rest? Nein. Denn wie man dieses Feature auf die Spitze treiben kann zeigt dieser Artikel: Top 100 Increase Economic Skill
Wie ihr hier lesen kann gibt es Leute, die an einem Tag ihren Eco Skill um 100.000 Punkte steigern. Da ein Punkt im Eco Skill gleichbedeutend ist mit 1 Punkt in Produktion hat die Nummer 1 dieser Liste also an einem Tag über 50.000 Rohstoffe ‚erschaffen’. Das ist ungefähr so viel Grain wie 200 Skill 10 Arbeiter in eÖsterreich produzieren würden.
Diese kostenlosen Rohstoffe überschwemmen nun den Markt und drücken die Preise. Da wir unsere Märkte recht effektiv mit Importsteuern schützen und zudem ziemlich klein sind, wurden wir davon bisher verschont. Andere Länder leiden aber extrem darunter.
Was machen also die Admins um das Problem zu beheben? Sie drucken Geld. Unmengen. Schätzungen zu Folge sind es alleine in Polen 200.000 PLN. Und mit diesem Geld kaufen sie den Überschuss auf um die Preise stabil zu halten. Aber jedes Kind weiß was passiert, wenn man immer mehr Geld ohne Gegenwert druckt: Inflation. Die Großverdiener wollen ihre Währungen natürlich loswerden und kaufen alles Gold auf. Die Folge?










Wie wir sehen brechen in jedem land die Kurse ein (in manchen Fällen um bis zu 50😵. eÖsterreich blieb bisher davor verschont da unser Kurs schon sehr niedrig ist und eben nur wenig dieser Güter auf unserem Markt landete.

Die Regierungen versuchen mit Goldverkäufen dagegenzuhalten, was aber angesichts der Menge an neuen Währungen sinnlos ist. Zudem belohnen sie die Admins auch noch für ihr versagen.

Fazit
Die Admins haben mal wieder bewiesen dass sie entweder keine Ahnung von elementaren Grundlagen der Ökonomie haben oder es ihnen einfach egal ist. Zudem nutzen sie ihre Machtposition aus um Länder zu übernehmen und Bündnisse zu schließen. Ganz nebenbei ruinieren sie die Wirtschaft im Spiel komplett.
Man sollte meinen die Inkompetenz der Admins habe hier und heute ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Meine Erfahrung mit ihnen sagt mir aber dass es kein Niveau gibt welches die Admins nicht gewillt sind mit Anlauf zu unterbieten.

Fellow Citizens

In todays issue I want to talk about the influence of the Admins, the creators of this game, on eRepublik.

Of course we all know the admins not only make the rules but also take care these rules are being followed. The have the last decision in any case. It’s also well known that we have a lot of cheating and fraud in eRepublik, more than in any other online game I ever played. And it’s a sad truth that certain countries (on top of that Romania) are more equal than others.

But that’s not my topic today. Instead I want to look at two substantial example where the Admins actively change the gameplay.

Case 1: Saudi Arabia

As I wrote in an earlier issue the Admins added 3 new countries (Saudi Arabia, United Arabian Emirate and Egypt) to the game. These should attract Arabian players who were not satisfied with Pakistan and Iran. No problem so far.
But soon it became obvious that foreign forces (mostly Romanian) tried to take over control of Saudi Arabia. The reason is clear if we look at the resources of Saudi Arabia: 4 x Grain and 5 x Oil! You might say that’s nothing new in the game. True. But new is the fact that Plato (chief of the Admins) became President of Saudi Arabia without an election! And what’s the first thing he did in this position? He proposed a MPP with Rumania!
Remember: the last time new countries were added they had MPPs with all countries.

Of course the Admins have the right to play their own game. But they don’t have the right to seize power in a country and then sign treaties with their RL home country. I can’t explain in how many ways this is wrong!

Case 2: Money Counterfeiting

Yes, this is not a typo. If you call printing money by somebody except of the government money forging then yes, the Admins did just that.
But let’s start with the beginning.

As you all know managers can work in their own companies for some time now. Good for them? Yes. Good fort he rest? Not at all. Because some people learned how to extremely overuse this feature. Just check out this article: Top 100 Increase Economic Skill
As you can see some people are able to increase their Eco Skill by over 100.000 points in just one day. Since 1 point in Eco Skill is equal to 1 point in Production we talka bout over 50.000 raw materials ‘created’ in just one day. That’s the amount of Grain 200 Skill 10 workers with produce in eAustria per day.
These free raw materials flooded markets all over the world and prices drop like flies. Since we protected our markets with Import taxes and are rather small we have been spared so far. But other countries where hit hard.
So how reacted the Admins on this problem? They printed money. Loads of it. In Poland alone an estimated 200.000 PLN. And with this money the Admins buy the excessive products to keep the prices stable. But every child knows what happens if you just print more and more money: inflation.
And the managers want to get rid of their currencies and buy all the gold they can get. The consequences?









As you can see the currency in all these countries dropped down extremely (up to 50% in some cases). eAustria was spared so far because our currency already was weak and only a few of these products ended up on our market.

The governments try to counter the effects by selling Gold which is futile against the huge amount of money floating around. On top of that they reward the Admins for their mistakes.

Conclusion
Once more the Admins proved that they either have no clue about the most basic aspects of economy or they just don’t care. Also they abuse their power to seize control over countries and sign MPPs. On the side they totally destroy the economy of the game.
One should think the incompetence of the Admins reached ist summit today. But in my experience there is no level the Admins are not able to undercut with joy.
