[CYP-MoFA] The GOATs are at it again

Dear citizens,

In the last days, while Cyprus was torn apart by a debate aiming to decide if we should either fix the minimum salary at 31.31 CYP or at 31.69 CYP, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) decided to AirStrike our mighty island.

This operation was part of the actual conflict involving CODE and its allies against Asteria and Hydra. Earlier this month, Cyprus successfully landed in Austria via its AirStrike on Portugal. After conquering Switzerland in Cooperation with Thailand, a first attempt to disturb Cyprus military operations was started by Ukraine, unsuccessfully.

This first important battle for Cyprus (since Portugal refused to fight and since Switzerland didn’t represent any big challenge) allowed the goats to shine, eventually repelling the AirStrike with a 96-50 score, reflecting the cypriot will to avoid contesting air rounds to keep stingers for its allies.


Thanks to its fighters efforts and great allied support, Cyprus defeated Ukraine


It could have been the end of a nice war story, but this didn’t feel legendary enough for the goats, it didn’t feel cypriot enough.

Therefore, I have to thank FYROM, which, after 3 rejected AirStrike laws and a Natural Enemy one, decided to attack Cyprus, thought to be exhausted by its previous fight and its help for friends and especially Argentina. But it was without counting the strength of the GOATs, led by the gre(a)y(t) wizard, that proved once more their bravery and resilience.

Indeed, after a first round that resulted in epics in divisions 2, 3 and 4, Cyprus took only 5 points (D1+D2) while Skopje already had 16. The numerous fyromians legend XX allowed the attacker to develop a big DPS that resulted in this first round win, that could have led Cyprus to give up. But cypriots knew that its enemy could not carry on with such damages on the long run, the only thing that mattered was to make sure that the track would be long enough to allow the goats to outrun the snakes.

Round 2 finally confirmed this theory as Cyprus finally won all divs, 3 (2,3,4) being epic. Back in the race and driven by their pride, cypriots kept winning, gathering 11 points in round 3 and 22 in round 4, decisive for the final victory. Vardarska did not manage to win a single division after its first round success in divisions 3 and 4 even though they kept fighting, which led to another epic battle in div 4 during the 5th round.


Once more, Cypriots developed a huge amount of damage, which, in addition to foreign help, resulted in FYROM’s plane crash
