[CODE]People behind CODE (3): Interview with Vaggelisker

Day 4,537, 13:31 Published in Greece Greece by Code Alliance family

Greetings, CODE family!

Today the PR team of CODE is presenting you the third interview from our "People behind CODE" series. It's with the person who's currently the Secretary of Foreign Affairs (SoFA) of our alliance - Vaggelisker .

Make your coffee (open your beer), take a seat and enjoy reading!

So tell us some things about yourself.

Vaggelisker : My real life name is Vaggelis, i am 30 years old Greek. I am currently living in the island of Syros, capital of the Cyclades. I am working as a captain in merchant marine industry
I used to play basketball in amateur league.
I love watching football and volleyball.
Playing video games is my hobby…,
Helping friends and allies here is one of my goals as I play this one.....
Stay strong my friends.

How were you introduced to erepublik? Can you describe us your first steps?

Vaggelisker: Well, i started playing erepublik at a very troubled time for my country Greece, we had NE (Natural Enemy) and AS (Airstrikes) from 5 countries ... As you can guess in the end we were deleted. I was introduced into the game by a media tycoon at the time by a link I saw on Facebook, how my country needs me and that it was a free game ( HAHAHA PLATO).

What do you think about the current state of the game and what would you do to improve it?

Vaggelisker : Current game has come again once to a stand still... There are basically two sides fighting for power and some neutral countries. I guess they should introduce what was supposed to be launched some years ago. The division zero project that was canceled from erep labs, where new players would hit for half a year in a division zero except the current ones, produce their own division zero weapons and food and would be boosted regarding strength and rank, so when join division 1 they would already know the game and be ready to go to battle.

What do you think is your biggest accomplishment in the game?

Vaggelisker : Hmmm that is a rather difficult question, I guess our AS to the USA, when I was in Egypt. That meant the beginning of CODE alliance! A country with 10 people winning an AS against the USA! Come on, it was huge (I have to thank my teammates at that time in Egypt, even though it didn't end well, but i don’t keep hard feelings against them anyway). After the fourth round I had to take a break, as my heart was pounding hahaha. Also, I have been funding wars since then. That’s how I got the nickname Bank.

You are the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of CODE. Do you have any goals that you would like to follow?

Vaggelisker : Well, this month we will focus on finalizing some deals and be more operative in terms of communication with all countries. Moreover, I would like to continue those kinds of interviews so people of the game get to know us better... And see we aren't the demons some try to say we are.

Since we reached the topic of CODE what do you think of its current situation? Is there room for improvement?

Vaggelisker : I personally don't like to say things that i can't follow through so the only thing that i am gonna say is that the current situation seems dire but isn't that bad, we're gonna prove it shortly. Well on your second question i think there are miles and miles of improvement here to be done. And I guess we learn each month from our mistakes and not repeat them.

I think because we are currently in a bad position, it’s giving a lot of motivation to our communities to strengthen their bonds. What's your opinion on that?

Vaggelisker : Last month coordination and cooperation has risen a lot so it is true. I guess when people stand together it’s nice and better than being alone....

Would you like to comment on the Greek boycott since you are a member of the Greek government? Do you think it will change at some point?

Vaggelisker : Well Greece demands are simple and I don't really understand why they haven't accepted. Make the token market transparent. What's wrong with wanting that? Or erep labs are hiding something behind that?

Well since we are currently working on the International Aviation Project do you want to say some words about the baby you and B I T E R created?

Vaggelisker : It's something new that is including the whole erepublik population for the 1st time. We have simple rules: we give you air battles we want you to fight and depending on the kills you are getting paid after you fill a simple form. The payment is usually 1000 cc for 30 kills or 300k cc for 1 million damage. That is something that it might change. The most important thing is we don't care about your nationality if you are willing to follow the orders you are gonna get paid.

This is the link of the article that is going to give you all the information you need .
For any questions you can pm B I T E R, me or sotirius98.

So we are approaching the end of the interview, what would you like to be your message to our readers?

Vaggelisker : Lads stay at home, that's the only weapon we got for now... I know it’s hard, I do it 8 months per year, but we don’t have another choice ... Please don't make unnecessary moves out of homes and keep the hygiene standard high. This is something new for our entire planet and it's hard and exhausting, but we are going to win it. I am wishing the best to everyone of you.

Vaggeli thank you for the interview and giving us a sneak peek “behind the scenes” of CODE.
