Afternoon lads o7,

It appears the admins have successfully one upped us on random unasked for updates to the game, adding to the general obfuscation of the month we have the new Residency Module to all fall out over. As Huey points out in his analysis ‘ere a lot of the features are yet to be added – it looks like we’ll now have another monthly election for Mayors who will be tasked with managing their region's budget.

Depending on the structure of this it may be worth tying these regional economies in with the Bank of England and storing them in the reserves, but ultimately I hope regional governments will enjoy a lot of autonomy accommodating the interests & needs of their own local constituents and creating some new interest/contention for our parties.

For now I’d settle in either Edinburgh (weapons) or Leeds (food) depending on your main source of production and enjoy the housing bonuses.


Mongress/Irish TW

In their determination to throw off the repressive shackles of rationalism, Mongress has this month voted against our NE with Ireland but also against their proposed closing of the campaign. Collectively with potential NEs on Germany, the USA and Belgium, we commend this above-average contribution to the entertainment value of the month. Hats off, however, for helping our MPP renewals to pass.

I expect this TW will be re-discussed sometime after our respective new congresses have had their elections.


Country Presidency

I am rather resolute that the allied parties try and avoid a repeat of the potential disaster we narrowly avoided this month under Ajay. We still have some time to go before people traditionally put themselves forward for the job, but the historic unreliability of this in the present scenario with BP/LP means we need to up our game.
