New Zealand Industry threatened. Is there hope?

It is always troubling when a nation sees its economy take a massive hit. High levels of unemployment lead to civil unrest and a strain upon a nation's safety nets. Many in New Zealand have been forced to seek work outside of the nation because of this, as well as pay higher prices for goods imported. It has even been said by some sources that certain companies in New Zealand have been slashing the pay of their employees.

With such threats internally facing New Zealand, it is hard to think that it could be worse than the forces outside of the nation that presses against the Island nation. Let alone what industry has been lost in the lands under the control of foreign forces.

Though one can't give up hope. As markets dry up, employers wage war upon their employees, it feels like there is no hope. Yet we must hold on to hope if we are to see our proud nation of New Zealand restored.

A few Captains of Industry having seen this plight have gone down a different path as others. Working together to provide good-paying jobs and restore items that haven't been seen on the markets in New Zealand in ages. This won't bring about great change in a short period of time, but it is at least hope.

A hope that some in New Zealand still care about the nation, that some are above their own petty desires to get rich on the backs of the citizens. We can only hope others in New Zealand seize upon these changes in the hope to further strengthen the economy, and not further damaging and destroy it.
