D20: Writing FOR Others

Day 4,465, 07:00 Published in USA USA by Jacob Ferguson

To start off today's article, I want to say thank you to Malpazar for their recognition of my comment on the need for veterans to stick around. The presence of helpful veteran players should help retention of any new folks that decide to play. With the restriction on multies, retaining new players in the eUSA is VITAL to the continuation of the game we all enjoy, or enjoyed at some point.

With that said, the proposal that perhaps presenting writing prompts to players could be an interesting way to keep people engaged intrigued me. Writers block is generally easily broken for me when a topic is presented. I love doing research and presenting my findings, and anything I can present to people to help them with their experiences makes it worth it.

I will try to continue with writing on any topic that piques my interest, but I can't make any promises to daily articles every day. If I'm so inclined to write an article, no matter how brief, I will try to get one out there.

On a closing note, the military situation right now is a little scattered and spread out. The callouts of foci and where we should be fighting has been handy, but there are just so many active wars that the focus priority is unlikely being felt further down the list. Does this make us weaker at the attempt to protect us? It's hard to tell what any other enemy country is up to unless its called out.

Final thought... double check with the national feed before completing your daily order. As a reminder, a lot of times, the default order is incorrect with respect to the official direction of the government military orders. If it's been updated by your MU leaders however, it's likely to be legitimate.

Thanks for your readership and patronage. Please leave any advice and comments below, and I'll see you all in the next one.
