Canada's Training Wars & Training War Etiquette

Day 4,689, 06:42 Published in Canada Canada by Canadian Civil Defence

This article is a refresher for the Training Wars that Canada is involved in.

We have two types of Training Wars with our partners. Ping Pong Training Wars and Traditional Training Wars.

Ping Pong TW

A ping pong Training War is one where the defender of an attack always wins. This keeps changing initiative so that there are the same number of battles, but no country actually takes a region over throughout the campaign.

Traditional TW

A traditional Training War is one where the attacking country always wins the direct battles (the one where MPP's are active) and always loses Resistance Wars. These typically take place over 3 regions, where one is attacked and one is liberated each day. Here the attacking country always wins the direct attacks, and the country the TW takes place on always wins RW

Notes

Sometimes mistakes happen. We forget to attack and auto-attack sets an attack for the wrong region. Because of this, while the above holds true most of the time, there may be occasions where this needs to change. It is important to always check the national feed for any changes in these orders.

Also of note is the work chopp dks does to keep us informed of when Resistance Wars can be started and supported. He posts this on the national feed at least once a day, sometimes twice a day. Take advantage of this information and help us keep these Training Wars running smoothly.

Keep fighting Canada!

Etiquette

Do not fight in a Canadian training war for the first 20 minutes of a round. Canadian training war battles are for Canadians first and foremost. Should you fight before the 20 minutes is up, you are risking your battle hero and can expect to have to fight to keep it, should a Canadian be looking for one.
