[CP] Days 4.956 - 4.963

Day 4,963, 03:20 Published in Ireland Ireland by Fenoglioteam

Greetings Ireland,

Half of my term finished, so here you have this week's recap.

Ministry of Defense and Training Wars

First of all, our standing battle orders. Don´t forget you can check the most updated version of our priorities in the country feed every day.

Finland : We Win Dublin and lose Louth

Republic of China: We win Mayo and lose Northern Ireland

France: We win Dublin and lose Wales

Argentina: We win Wexford and lose Cork

Turkey: We win Shannon and lose Newfoundland and Labrador.

So, we should always hold the regions we control in the following picture.

Moreover, do you need extra help to rank in the air? Don't forget to sign up for the Irish air program, extraordinarily organized by Aimesan. Click here to sign up or check how much you have won the last weeks.

Foreign Affairs

As you may have seen by now, Indonesia has just joined Pacifica. I am convinced that having a country with which we have collaborated a lotlately will not only bring a much appreciated bonus of damage, but will be decisive in the reactivation of our alliance. Selamat Datang!

As for our beloved island, negotiations with the United Kingdom continue after the treaty that we had signed with them and CODE has expired. From the government we are doing everything possible to maintain peace in the region, but we will not make concessions that significantly worsen our diplomatic presence or economic situation. As soon as there is a specific proposal to vote on, it will be immediately communicated to the Dáil Éireann.

Likewise, this week there has been a renewal of the mutual protection pact that we have with Brazil. Given the good relations between both communities and the help provided in our respective TWs, I am confident that we can continue to maintain it for a long time.

Economy

The only notable expense this week has been the 10,000 iep for the renewal of the mpp with Brazil. Regarding income, I have received the same amount as payment for the rental of orgs, which will be fully invested in the supply program discussed below.

This week in eR + Press

I am really happy with the activity of our press this week, so let's go with a brief review of the most noteworthy articles:

The key issue this week has been the difficulties of our producers in the face of the new geopolitical situation. Guilt of administrators? Should we rethink the policy of TWs? Give your opinion in this article written by RTK

What did you think of last month? Is it possible to organize a government based not on the mechanics of the game but on the community? Reflect on it in Lany's latest article

Do you feel lucky? Participate in the lottery organized by our former president Moomoohead

And since there is also time to laugh on eRepublik, here is the 12th issue of Gormley's Gormless Gags

In addition to public recognition, these four authors will also receive 1,000 iep courtesy of the president. Thanks for keeping our press alive!

Community corner

Last week I wanted to hear Irish music and those were the participants:

The coast of Malabar by The Chieftains & Ry Cooder - Suggested by Wandering Aengus

Danny Boy by Sinéad O'Connor - Suggested by Releasethe Krakken

Both will receive the winner's prize of 1,000 iep -from private funds-.

For this week, a little game: guess the character. It´s very simple: below I will put part of the profile description of 4 of our best known players. Be the first to guess who it belongs to and receive 500 cc. This contest is only open to locals. Needless to say, you can't answer yours: P

1. Meileann muilte Dé go mall ach meileann siad go mín.(The mills of God grind slowly but they grind finely). The harvest start.

2. You’re forgiving
of the small imperfections
you find in your drawings
as you have long forgiven
those found in me.

Mother, I have a confession.
I, too, have long forgiven you
for never having finished school
beyond the eighth grade,
for speaking with an “island” accent,
for us being poor
and Huns.

3. A proud member of eIreland - a country so dysfunctional it makes Jersey Shore look like The Brady Bunch [Probably the best description I have ever read]

4. Tóg go bog é agus labhair Úcráinis.

Good luck in your description hunt!

Food for the Irish

Given the difficulties in producing food, Congress has argued that it would be productive to give aid in the form of food to the Irish in need, so here we go.

Every Irishman who comments, regardless of his level, will receive 5,000 units of energy. This will be paid with the 10.000 iep from the org rent, but if more money is needed, it will be privately funded.

As for the possibility of distributing supplies on a regular basis, it seems there´s a general agreement that helping citizens with some food would be nice, and that´s something I think we can do. Before starting with it, a couple of points I would like to get everyone's opinion:

1- Frequency: I'm thinking in doing it weekly. Imo, publishing the article Monday morning should be the best option, so everyone will have the supplies ready for Tuesday and the new weekly challenge.

2- Amount: Not sure about that one. Keep in mind that we are getting around 8k cc daily. We have reserves, but we should strive to make everything as sustainable as possible.

3- Volunteers. Anyone willing to take care of the supply system? Just write an article + send supplies. Nothing too complex and a good option to help ireland. Food or money to buy it will be provided by the gov, so no need to worry about that. I want people taking part organizing programs, not their money 😃

I know it has been a long recap, so that's all for today. If you have any question or suggestion, feel free to post it here, send me a message ingame or ping me on telegram

Have a nice day!
