eCanada Summit - Survey of Interest

Day 4,440, 17:10 Published in Canada Canada by Mann551

Hello fellow citizens,

I'm just putting this out there in an effort to survey the interests of eCanadians in participating in an eCanada summit.

What would an eCanada summit look like?

An eCanada summit would look like a plan for a bunch of eCanadian players to all travel at the same time to a similar location, such as a city in Canada, where we could all hang out with each other. The timeline would likely be about the amount of a weekend so as to be the least disruptive as possible to peoples lives. We'd likely all plan to stay at the same hotel, with consideration to budgets, so that it would be easy for us to all hang out together.

Some Activities

At this point, I can only guess that it would be a pretty low-key itinerary, being that there would be none. Certainly I can imagine that people would hang out together at a bar or lounge, though other activities are not out of the question, such as bowling, laser tag, whatever you want at this point.

Why would anyone do this?

We all play eRepublik. It's been going for 11 years, and some of us have been around for that long. Some of us have only just started playing. Ultimately, why are we all still playing this game though? The #1 reason I hear that people stay and keep playing the game is because of the community. We know each other through aliases, I think it would be cool to get to know each other in person.

At this point, I'm just trying to gauge if there would be interest. There is no timeline for when this would happen, no location at all. Just gauging if there is interest, and if there were enough interest, then plans could start being put into motion to organize something.

You who read this, if you would be so kind as to send me a pm indicating whether this would be of interest to you or not, I'd appreciate it!

I look forward to hearing your responses.

Obviously, all responses will be confidential. No individual response will be reported publicly, only if there is sufficient interest will responses be made public, and then only in aggregated form.
