D8: Weekly Challenge
Jacob Ferguson
Today the weekly challenge reset, and I realized that my energy regen went through the floor. This is disappointing given how much I'd been getting done, but I understand why they do it. I just think it's interesting that at the beginning of each week, I will only be able to do things 2/3 as often as I was until I get those energy regeneration points back up through the next weeks event.
The trickle of rewards from the weekly challenge is nice, and I'm banking up a good number of energy bars (for when I'm just *THAT* close to finishing a Freedom Fighter medal) from the rewards. The energy regen is much more rewarding for me though, since it means I get to come back and do something sooner.
I'm going to need to go back through my articles and pull out key points that were made and make a document to reference when I get to the point where I've got enough money, or when there are sales on upgrades and such, because I'm realizing now, this newspaper will take some time to parse through if I don't pull key points from each article. Maybe I'll make it a feature in the bottom of the article, for new members who want quick tips.
Money is still flowing in well, and I want to again thank the folks who recommended supporting the Resistance Wars as a Resistance Hero. I've started to note all of the start times for the contributions on my Google Calendar in local time so I can try to be on as soon as possible, and if I miss one, I know when the next one is. This would be made much easier if the time was listed in East Coast civ time, but we take what we're given.
I also was impressed upon how important physically doing air combat is, and I'll be trying to focus on getting my rank up in that a bit. It's a slow drag though, since at low ranks, only 1% of your damage is applied as influence. I'll get there though, if I keep at it.
Today is the final day for party recommendations and pitches. I have a good idea where I'm leaning, but don't want to make a hasty decision. I did that with Military Units and I feel I may have burned a few bridges or made people upset by joining and leaving, so I'm weighing this decision heavily.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my knowledge growth in such a short time, and as always, if you have recommendations for new/returning players, leave them in the comments section. Thank you for your support, and if you enjoy this daily format, please subscribe.

Yeah air rounds are going to seem slow since Perception isn't implemented yet. Just remember that everyone else is in the same boat as you for that. The only advantage to be gained right now is to just keep hitting in the air rounds to level up your rank there. Doing that will set you up to contribute more meaningfully (especially if Perception ever is released) than you would ever catch up to in ground battles (since folks have been hitting and training strength for years upon years.)
You lucky however: my activity every begin of Weekly Challenge go back to 1/3 of my weekend activity.
I'm trying to set up a D1 Epic every Tuesday at day-change
as we did today and in the previous weekly challenge
I think it would suit you to participate in it,
since it is your division, you can get True Patriot points,
benefit from the +1 prestige points bonus and increase your energy regen as well
Keep walking

That sounds lucrative and all, but day change for me is 3AM. Can't do that.
Take your time to decide what you want. It is your choice. Try to communicate with the ones when there are bridges burned. It can take time but for sure there are a lot who will understand why you left.
It is interesting to read about your journey. o7

I want you to know how very appreciative I am of this content. I know how time consuming it can be and how easily writing articles can flip from being enjoyable to a chore to something dreaded, especially if you commit yourself to a larger goal such as you have here.
Thanks again.
