[PN] Interview with... Aaron Mark Daniels

Day 2,816, 00:01 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Pannonian Nomad

Hi everyone.

Special edition, with our new president Aaron Mark Daniels. I would like to use this opportunity to congratulate him on his election result o7 (Results at 7:59 UK time)

Here is what he has to say...

1. Tell us a few words about your real life self.

- 17 Year old Politics and history student (Thrown in with a bit of english and drama) About to start 2nd year of 6th form. Waiting for my hopefully great AS level results haha. I like to read, discuss politics and basically watch documentaries and Netflix. Avid video gamer at times 😉

2. About eRepublik Aaron Mark Daniels. What can people expect from AMD during his CP term?

- eRepublik AMD is similar to the real me, I tell it as it is, and like to think things through carefully and consistently, as well as enjoying the good quality banter with some friends. People can expect an honest guy who will tell the people what they need to hear about how the country is going to be ran. They will expect someone who has their best interests at heart at all times.

3. How do you see your future in eRepublik? Your first CP term early in your eLife, what are your ambitions for the future?

- My future in eRepublik is a strange one. I need to see how my first term goes to be honest before I can judge where I go from here xD I expect possibly serve on peoples cabinets if they will have me, maybe throw in some more CP runs if I am successful. It's balancing the time which is the main thing, so perhaps a lot of cabinet work. I am deffinitely more interested in the politics side of this game than the military and other modules.

4. eUK's future (during your term and longterm future)?

- Well it's immediate future, my term eUK will hopefully get their regions back which is a goal. Negotiations will begin immediately with Argentina and if a deal cannot be struck, we may have an opportunity for some TP medals haha. Long term I think that eUK needs to work together to survive. The strongest and most attractive aspect of the eUK is definitely the community, and if we all work together we can succeed as a nation.

5. eRepublik's future? What would you change?

- That is a diverse topic. Obviously the reports are that the game is not going to last long. Max Blue's article shows eRepublik in a downwards slant and it may not last a few more years. I like to remain optimistic, however if it is nearing the end of it's time then lets make the most of it and party out ;P. I would change the military module, mainly dictatorship because at the moment the military module dominates the game, and now that Countries can be taken over simply by the strongest military unit, it negates the need for a political module in the game. Luckily we have come up with a meta game way for dealing with this.

6. Who is your favourite person in eRepublik and why?

- I can't choose a favourite person. There are however people I have come to call friends. Off the top of my head I have worked a lot with people like Mr Woldy, Huey George, Colin ChipPhilfer Brown, the UKRP Lot, they know who they are and a lot of the lads in ESO ;P. Huey George especially because he gave me some much needed advice when i first started out in the game, and has basically guided me through my time here whenever I have needed help.

7. Any person you dislike in eRepublik and why?

- Lol, seriously though I do not actively dislike anyone in the game permanently. There have been periods of time I have had disagreements with people, like the two above, but I like to look at each situation with sound judgement, and I will not hold onto a dislike unless a person gives me reason to.

8. A few words about your military history.

- My military unit is the Free British Irregulars, the official regiment of the Workers Rights Party. We are a friendly bunch achieving many things. We have regular supply drops, Sunday Strike which brings us together, and it's a lot of fun really and a loyal unit.

9. A few words about your political history. Why should people join your party?

- My political history. I joined the Workers Rights Party and have been a permanent member since October 2014, when I started the game. Mainly because of meta game principals I wanted to join an in game left wing party in the Top 5 haha. I have been a congressman for the last 7 months, pretty consistent but nowhere near the might of Rob the Bruce 😉 I have had cabinet positions since CptChazbeard although my heart is in MoHA, first given to me by Huey George in March ;P I served as Applebys vCP the last month to train myself up for the big position which I hope to do justice to.
The Worker's rights party stand for equality and justice, so join us today!

10. Do you lift?

11. Your message to the community.

- Thanks for the votes! I hope to serve you well this term. Also Banter.

And to Sambo and GarthL:

My term will be better than this, I promise!

Thank you Aaron Mark Daniels for your answers o7
