Why can't we all just chill and have an eBeer?

Day 526, 20:33 Published in Australia Australia by Ranger Bob

There is much I for one love about Australia (and eAustralia) - something about our laid back culture, our sense of humor (including TPOP), our culture and openness to the world that truly offers something special. Sometimes things can get a little heated, maybe even lead to the occasional E-Pub bar-fight, but in the end there's always this "let's just sit down at the end of the day, and forget about our differences over a Schoona of Beer (or eBeer)".

Sure, some comments from both sides have actually been somewhat constructive to the broader debate about whether we wear Romanian Yellow or Indo Red on our jersey's to the next eFooty Match. And sure, at some matches there are always the people who are likely to get too plastered, throw their eBeer on the pitch, try to start a riot and end up ruining the experience for people who just want to see their favourite eTeam playing.

Heck, some people even want there to be a chance that over the next premiership season, eAustralia will become a powerhouse and make it to the top 8 come finals time.

Fact of the matter is, we are passionate about our eAustralia - who wouldn't be. But I for one want to avoid it becoming one of those bad eFooty matches that can turn you off your favourite sport. And I mean, if you're new to the game why wouldn't you be turned off? The focus has been less on helping new people learn how the eFooty game works, and more like convincing them to join your respective fan squad. So, new players decide they don't want to bother with eFooty, or worse, go off to barrack somewhere else as there is more than three teams out there anyway.

Remember, eFooty, like eRepublik, is a GAME.

It's not about which team bests who. It's about enjoying the game and making the most of your experience.

Anyone want to pop over for an eBeer at E-Pub later on today is more than welcome!
