Weary, Worn, Reborn

Day 3,706, 06:49 Published in USA USA by Derphoof

The USWP may be in its final days, but its legacy lingers on. The leadership of the party has steered America through tough times in its storied history. Just as well, it helped to cement Socialist policies into the fabric of the eUS Government.

It helped to build a government of Workers for the Workers. As a result, working people currently benefit from great social programs and some of the highest wages in the eWorld.

The “Workers” are well taken care of. They are not under siege. What needs taken care of are old principles. Old documents. Old institutions.

The Constitution needs the support it deserves. The support of the people.

And so we adapt.

Soon, we will turn the page on the USWP. In its place, we build something new, yet something that is dedicated to the old.

We dedicate ourselves to the Constitution, as the framework of a weary meta system. The game mechanics may be its base, but mechanics are not the Alpha and Omega of the community. The community is much more than that. Game Mechanics cannot give order to congress, give oversight to the presidency, give decorum to that order, or give any way to punish those who violate that decorum or act in bad faith.

This is why the Constitution is necessary and needs to be supported.

The Constitution, its amendments, and its code are supplemental to Game Mechanics. They don’t work to upend them, but to support them. They work to enhance the game itself and give it more dimension.

Just as well, the Constitution and its associated meta “laws” should be administered equally and even-handedly.

As Constitutionalists, that’s what we’ll do. We’ll support the meta. We’ll uphold the laws, and we’ll We’ll engage each other with respect and decorum, and we’ll ask others to do the same.

We’ll defend and uphold the Constitution, the rule of law, and advocate for equal treatment under that law.

We'll give that weary meta a resting place. We'll do our best to bring people into the meta and make it more welcoming for all. As opposed to writing about the personalities of the game like reality tv, we'll revive rhetorical interest and debate around our political process and systems.

Many people have called for a death to the meta, to the constitution, often for political purposes.

We seek it's renewal. We seek it's rebirth.

We're not going to give in.
